There’s no art world without an art community…
Art has very little to do with objects. It exists in the act of making and viewing with intent. The fact that this many people make the effort to come once a month to discover and look at things differently, blows my mind. I don’t think I could make an object that ever resonates the same way. Community really is the best art.

Second Saturdays LA Art Walk…
This month we hit the Santa Monica and highland loop of art galleries. Love how diverse this pocket of galleries is. From major supersized art spaces like @regenprojects and @mariangoodmangallery to interesting project spaces like @sebastiangladstone and @gallery.castle or design showrooms like @carpentersworkshopgallery and @bddw_etc , this neighborhood truly has something for everyone.

Crazy to think people have come out every month, once a month, for four years to appreciate LAs local art scene, connect with friends, and find inspiration.
Never did I imagine this thing that started as a single story post would turn into such a vibrant and engaged community.
Appreciate everyone that comes out to this and look forward to making many more connections along the way.
