I attended the local Creepy Pop-up Market seeking some monstrous art and collectibles. Still not quite ready to let go of the vampiric āBlood of the Zombie Pumpkinsā theme from last Halloween, I picked up this magma-hot screen print from Blacksmith Press @blacksmith_press . Artists @planethaig and @millerstrations collaborated on several eye-popping, blacklight-reactive, velvety-flocked monster reimaginings - a series called āFLOCK āEM ALL.ā Only after taking the photo of Haig with his art did I realize he was doing his best Dracula pose. For a moment, I just thought he had a uniquely intense smile! š¬

When pumpkins are out of season, I put my portrait pattern prowess to other use. This is a framed, backlit portrait I designed and built from layered paper cuts. Same stencil skills and same warm glow, just a different medium. Makes a pretty great gift too!
