Meet the first part of our DJs set to make you sweat. Each of them brings their own universe and SHATA MATA touch to the night. Expect a mix of Arab pop, hyper-pop, SWANA sounds and global influences, blended with electro and techno for an energetic, playful and powerful dance-floor.

Noise Diva Dutch-Syrian producer and DJ whose work is rooted in experimental sound design and a long-standing fascination with Arabic pop and electronic production techniques from its golden era. Her project Carwash explored these intersections. She has collaborated with Ableton, Sonic Acts, Le Guess Who? and Rewire, and released work on Banoffee Pies and Rare Frequency Transmissions.
Anira Orlando Copenhagen-based DJ of Moroccan origin and trans artist. Moving through house, afro and electronic sounds, her sets are sensual and powerful, shaped by the crowd and guided by feeling.
Nazanin Yalda Iranian musician and composer based in Brussels, also known as part of the duo Floèmee. In her solo work, she plays the setār, an Iranian string instrument, using sonic modifications that expand its acoustic range into ambient, immersive and deeply nostalgic territories.
ZOBAYDA Egyptian DJ and multidisciplinary artist based in Amsterdam. Her sets are driven by rhythm, percussion, and a refusal of genre boundaries, drawing from the Global South and its diaspora. Her practice also spans photography, audiovisual work, archiving, and cultural programming.

These lessons are especially tailored for intermediate/bedroom DJs preparing to enter the club or radio realm—particularly those in the focus group: trans, queer, immigrants, refugees, black & brown folk. The classes are also open to others who understand and respect the intention of the space.
You can sign up for individual classes, but signing up for all is recommended.
