Wrote a lil piece on artist @ochiaishohei for the spring/summer 2024 issue of @hypebeastmag 🎨 I like the way he gets wonky with physics 📐 saw Ochiai did the cover art for the new Underscores album — cool stuff 😎 — it reminded me about this article :)
Wrote a lil profile of @frankdorrey aka DORIS for the fall/winter 2024 issue of @hypebeastmag 🌞 “Ultimate Love Songs Collection” was one of my favorite albums that year and it was cool to showcase Frank’s artwork in print 🖤🎨
“Maybe being out of sight makes ‘em want you more.” A lil profile I wrote on the one and only @petersutherland for @hypebeastmag issue #32 back in 2023. Have always looked up to Peter and he was wise as ever during our chat 🌀💀🌹⚡️

Andrew Callaghan built a media empire out of a microphone, an RV, an ill-fitting tan suit, and an unflinching curiosity for America’s fringes. He got his start filming drunk tourists spilling secrets in New Orleans for Quarter Confessions, then hit the road with All Gas No Brakes — a consistently viral video series that carried the torch of gonzo journalism for the meme era. The project exploded, then imploded, leading him to launch Channel 5, an independent news platform with global ambitions. Along the way, he released This Place Rules, an HBO feature documentary capturing the manic buildup to January 6, and more recently, Dear Kelly, a subtler portrait of personal tragedy and its role in radicalization. Through it all, Callaghan has become one of the most recognizable faces of boots-on-the-ground reporting to Gen Z and beyond: the de facto people’s broadcaster for those who prefer a YouTube subscription over CNN.
