We have a new event coming up on May 29, and this is one we’re beyond excited about! Together with Operator & Yarrow Ballet, we’re hosting an evening filled with melancholy yet danceable rhythms, electronic melodies and PUNK!
Longtime favorite Palmbomen II (with a new live set) and the amazing MAHA are coming to Roodkapje. MAHA creates punk with an electronic twist, using her creativity as a tool of resistance against oppression, prejudice and labels.
The night wouldn’t be complete without beautiful and fitting tunes before, after and in between, so we’re very happy to welcome our dear DJ Cat A Lula. A well-known member of the Operator family who will frame the evening musically.

We’re buzzing to have MAHA over for our night together with Yarrow Ballet at Roodkapje West! This Sudanese multidisciplinary powerhouse does it all: making incredible punk music, zines, photo’s, performances and much more.

We’re happy to have these two over the 27th of February 🖤
Schulverweis is L.F.T. @love.fist.tears and Levente @leventepavelka They record every song directly in a jam on a tape deck. And that’s where it all comes together: dystopian synth pads, dusty drum patterns and endearingly banal guitar riffs. There’s a colorful mix of storytelling, shouting and babbling. German, French, English, who cares. But with lots of punk, synth and humor.

GalaT is Wanda Reynier (Brussels) and is a multidisciplinary artist who created her alter ego GalaT, a project of radical, experimental pop. Immersed in a sour world of candy gleam and synthetic light, her music stands as a symptom - glittering on the outside, fraying at the edges within. Influenced by Throbbing Gristle, Prince, cloud and Memphis rap or dungeon inspired sounds.
We’re happy to have her! She will release her music soon on World Of Paint, but first check her live the 27th of February ❤️

The side project of @leventepavelka and @love.fist.tears make punk the way it should be: completely in the moment. Just like the very existence of the band. Because Schulverzeigen actually only came about because they had to share a studio in the overcrowded metropolis of Hamburg.

Rotterdam-based Samira found her niche in the city’s electronic music scene as a resident DJ at Operator. Specializing in melancholic electro and wave, her sets at the club became known for their
distinct, darker palette. While her music reflects the city’s urban landscapes and resonates with its gritty spirit, she also contributed to the local music culture by supporting local music platforms and clubs.
