Finally 🌖🌗🌘I had some time to make a thank you post to everyone who helped me out on this trip of making a soundtrack for series Amsterdam Empire for
@netflixnl , a trip I did mainly with director
@jonas_govaerts who went deep with me. 🏃🏾♀️Next to creating Famke’s 90s hit I had a lot of freedom to do many different things, like forming a dub/reggae band that plays in the back or ‘coffee shops’ and as score in the series, as well as creating sleazy music for s*x clubs and working together with different hiphop artists and writing tracks together around characters. Also I was able to do a deep dive in weird dutch (and related) music that we placed all around the series as well, like a mix tape with favorite weird dutch music combined with music I could make with others.
