Final week: ‘Ramp’s Edge’ curated by Marissa Graziano Won Ju Lim explores themes of privacy and paranoia through her careful placement of works nestled within the confines of the gallery. Her aptly titled, Corner, is presented in its third iteration as a white model house that abuts an exposed wall of the gallery and hints at an interior space beyond the studs. Won Ju Lim, Corner, 2014, Wood, acrylic paint, and nylon powder, 23 ½ x 50 x 36 in (59.7 x 127 x 91.4 cm)

Today is the last day to see "an Artificial Place" @sidecar_gallery @nightgallery . Thank you to all that came to see the show, for your time and sending me words of appreciation and support. The exhibition talk between myself and Graham Harman @harman_object moderated by Daniel Tovar @to5ar will take place in the gallery at 2pm. A huge THANK YOU to the crew at Night Gallery. My deepest gratitude to Davida @dahveeduh for helping me realize this large-scaled project and giving it a home for many weeks in the most perfect space. And also to Amy Granat @parapetrealhumans for your continuing support, friendship, and love.

On view now: ‘Ramp’s Edge’ curated by Marissa Graziano Won Ju Lim is a Korean American artist whose multimedia practice is grounded in the interactions of sculpture and architecture. It revolves around the play of real and fictional spaces in the construction of memory, longing, and fantasy, drawing upon both empirical and imaginary constructs that we rely on to move between multiple scales of interiority and exteriority. The conceptual and formal elements in her work draw from sources ranging from Baroque architecture to the urban landscape to the domestic space. Won Ju Lim, Endoscopy, 2014, Single-channel video projection, 8 minutes, 37 seconds, looped, Dimensions variable Thurs - Sat, 12-6pm @ 53 Orchard thru Feb 22
