Join me for my upcoming solo exhibition “Whale Oil” @cerritosgallery ! Exhibition Dates: March 22 -April 4, 2026 Public Reception: March 27, 2026 from 7-9 PM Location: 11110 Alondra Blvd., Norwalk CA Parking: Parking Lot 10 (white spaces only) Over millions of years, immense heat and pressure slowly compresses decaying organic material into crude oil, and what used to be living organisms becomes the fuel that powers industry. Oil rises to the surface. Buried deep under the ocean, non-renewable resources are extracted, refined, and burned to generate energy. Whale Oil is part of my ongoing series Beneath the Surface, which looks below the crust of the earth at the relationship between fossil fuels, prehistoric marine life, and mechanical systems. Special thanks to @naturhistorisk_museum_oslo for providing the original cast of the Dorudon specimen. Original skeleton cast: Natural History Museum in Oslo Original 3D model: Maciej Ruciński

Come see the works from my ongoing series “Mass Extermination” as part of TRIPWIRE!!! TRIPWIRE is an exhibition curated by the second year MFA students in UCLA’s Design Media Arts program @ucla_dma . The works in the exhibition interrogate the intertwined systems of capital, power, and culture. Through sculpture, image, and games, artists employ tactics—dismantling, provoking, or evading—to reveal the underlying structures that sustain them. Exhibition Title: TRIPWIRE Dates: Dec 6th-13th, 2025 Opening Reception: Dec 6, 7-9pm Venue: Bendix Building, 10th floor 1206 Maple Ave, Los Angeles Gallery Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 12pm - 6pm Website: www.scanme.art Admission: Free
