Thank @mchansenoninstagram for bringing us to Denmark for such a magical run of shows and a beautiful adventure. I’m already dreaming of returning.

Oh and @thelowestpair dropped our first studio record since 2020! “Always As Young As We’ll Ever Be” 🤘 @nprmusic is calling it “Lush, power-pop Americana.” Dreamy!!! I’ve been missing my fiddle practice so I’m trying my hand at some of the old-time tunes I’ve been working on to keep them fresh. This lil’ reel’s called Brushy Run. 🤓🪕

It’s our album release day today for “Always As Young As We’ll Ever Be” and we’re elated to finally let this one out into the world. It was January of 2024 when we recorded it and it’s been quite the journey since then, more love, more heartbreak, more seasons. It’s admittedly a strange time to drop a record and our hearts are very much with our communities in Minneapolis and beyond, proud of how neighbors are showing up to take care of their neighbors. And perhaps in this small offering to our community and the world there is some soothing embrace here through what music can offer. Here are some photos from the recording session. It was a magical ten days for us conjuring and collaborating and creating with an incredible crew of friends and musicians. Grateful for the time together and hope it finds you where you need it.
