It’s hard to capture the blue of Crater Lake, so blue that it’s almost uncanny, almost beyond reality. As you descend the switchbacks to the icy water, the blue fades to crystal clear – no rivers flow in or out of this volcanic crater.
It’s the rainy season here in Portland, and the early sunsets bring a different kind of pace- might be a good time to learn how to make really good tea.
Colors and textures captured on 35MM Cinestill 400D
I’ve been working a lot with creating double exposures from by daily walks in NW Portland - kind of like a visual representation of passing the same places every day.
My work for music notation and double exposures is now on display at the @dumpthemagazine exhibition at @p_n_c_a
Opening reception is this Thursday for anyone who happens to be in PDX
Italy in August on tour w/ @arunaquartet
Almost all the photos I took in Italy were vertical - perhaps as a result of the beautifully narrow streets
1-4 - Venice
5-6 - Florence
7 - Imola
8 - Modena
9-10 - Bologna
A love letter to Oregon Summer

Comment your worst New Year’s resolutions
The first time I saw the Oregon Coastline, high above Manzanita Beach. Is it crazy to call it underrated?
The roads leading up there are lined with thick evergreens and covered in a thick, salty fog - it gives the whole place such a unique texture.
10/10 must go (aka come visit Mady and I)
Don’t come at me for not removing the lens flare, it makes it *authentic*
I got to share the stage with @violingsquared last month in a most spontaneous fashion.
In a review of the show the writer noted “every Portlander lives three lives.”
I think I’ve got two of them figured out, still working on three! Will report back by EOD
