An emotional premier at Sundance for Knife:The Attempted Murder Of Salman Rushdie. I knew how relevant this was when I scored it. It’s even more urgent today. The man is an inspiration, as is director @alexgibneyfilm Our 10th project together, and a perfect way to bid adieu to Park City. What an honor.
We kicked off the 2026 Sundance festival with an incredible screening of Tuner at The Eccles. Thank you @daniel_roher for the shout out, and getting me back onstage at The Eccles one last time! It’s been an amazing week so far!
I’m very excited to say that I have two movies heading to Sundance.
“Tuner” directed by Daniel Roher and “Knife: The Attempted Murder Of Salman Rushdie” directed by Alex Gibney. Two very different movies, and two scores that I am so very proud of.
I feel extremely lucky to get to go back to Park City one last time. Sundance was the start of it all for me, this will be my 9th year attending.
Anyone remember that Fall On Your Sword gig on Main Street when my rig almost fell off the stage during “Shatner Of The Mount” and I caught it on my fingernail? A simpler time. But hopefully none of those shenanigans this year.
