Throwing it back to Ganbu Gulin (One Mob in Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung) a powerful gathering of First Nations culture, music, and storytelling as part of @fusedarebin 22â.
At the heart of the night was Neon Ngargee, a breathtaking fusion of ancient ceremony and contemporary light, led by the extraordinary @amosroach1 . The deep pulse of the yidaki, the rhythm of clapsticks and the movement of dancers illuminated the space, bringing generations of storytelling to life.
Still buzzing from photographing âBeneath the Maskâ a one-night-only event at @artscentremelbourne as part of @melbfashionweek independent program.
Presented by @mavartsau and curated by @eptmmusic_ this multidisciplinary showcase brought together live music, fashion, art and storytelling in the most powerful way, all centered around creative truth-telling and identity.
It was the absolute best capturing the energy, emotion, and artistry of everyone involved, while having an amazing time. What an unforgettable night.
Cover image features fashion design by @remusedesigns on @moses_ndisa . One of my favourite pieces of the night!

It was so lovely to visit the DNJ Paper studio @dnj_paper and meet the artists behind the work. I loved learning about their story and seeing their dedication to preserving the craft of traditional Japanese paper-making.
Walking into their space on a cold winterâs day felt calm and intentional and it was inspiring to watch them work with such care and purpose.
I had the opportunity to document their process ahead of their upcoming workshop with @ngvmelbourne and it was a real privilege to witness the beauty of their precious materials and techniques up close.

What an honour it was to witness and document 1880: Manifesto of Silences last week @artshouse
Through movement, poetry, and the raw power of presence, Irene Holub and Walter Kadiki unearth histories that have long been silenced. Their performance is a reclamation, a resistance, a moving expression of Deaf identity and the right to language.
To capture this was a privilege. To share it, even more so.
Looking back at Secretos de la RaĂzâa powerful meeting of heritage, spirit, and soul. Part 1.
I had the privilege of photographing Kathleen Gonzalez and Sermsah Bin Saad as they connected with their installation, sharing moving performances and conversations that honoured Aboriginal cultural revival and resilience. Through movement and storytelling, they unearthed deep connections to identity, history, and land.
A truly unforgettable experience to witness and capture.

Throwback to a project that moved me.
I canât believe I hadnât shared this reel yetâthese images are part of TakeBack!, an incredible multi-arts performance presented by @mavartsau in collaboration with @fusedarebin . A project that was fierce, unapologetic and deeply powerful.
Conceived in response to the racialised gaze that femmes and womxn of colour continue to navigate, TakeBaCk! was about truth-telling, reclaiming and reshaping narratives through art. This project inspired me in so many ways and looking back at these images, Iâm reminded of the power of storytelling, resistance, and art as a force for change.

After some time in the chaotic yet beautiful whirlwind of new motherhood (hello, 18 months of Rami magic), Iâm stepping back into the world of photographing artists, art, cultural and creative events across incredible Naarm. Itâs been a quiet hustle behind the scenesâjuggling full-time mum life while making photography my full-time gig.
Photography to me has always been about people, their stories and about the moments that move us. If youâre an artist, creative, or part of creating something unique and unapologetically you, letâs collaborate.
