Tonight, 3024 label boss and dance music pioneer @martyn3024 steps up to showcase his genre-bending sound As an explorer of several sonic palettes since the mid-90s, Martyn’s aesthetic traces back to his roots in UK-originated hybrids of bass music with an added flavor of Detroit-influenced jazz. But these days, Martyn is more than just a DJ and producer. His work spans multiple projects, from mentoring emerging artists to platforming new producers through his label. In 2007, he co-founded 3024 alongside Erosie. The duo have released a vast body of work from Jacques Greene, Leon Vynehall and Martyn himself, including Martyn’s collaborations with Spaceape and OM Unit. Remixes supplied by Ben Klock and Flying Lotus have also left a stamp on the label’s collection. Recently, 3024 has signed fresh talents, including Otik and TSVI / Anunaku. Most 3024 signees stem from Martyn’s Artist Mentoring Program on Patreon. Launched in 2020, he uses the Program to mentor producers at all stages by offering one-to-one lessons, group sessions and Q&As with renowned figures like Luke Slater, Skee Mask and dBridge. Martyn connects the Program with 3024 by releasing a selection of his student’s work on V/A compilations. The pandemic allowed Martyn to rethink archaic structures in dance music and help producers looking to break into the industry. Whilst on tour in 2022, Martyn met his students to nurture genuine student-teacher connections. An essential element in Martyn’s work, he firmly believes this is a modern, healthy way to support the next generation of artists in electronic music. Martyn’s style of DJing is uncategorizable. He’s performed worldwide and helms a residency at Panorama Bar in Berlin, and on the radio, his monthly ‘Darkest Light’ show on NTS offers a glimpse into his far-reaching world. As Martyn’s story unfolds, he keeps community in mind. This is Martyn’s post-pandemic way of treating his craft, whether it’s co-running 3024, teaching on the Mentoring Program or producing music. We are thrilled to be welcoming UK legend and @hessleaudio co-founder @pangaea_dj to Wellness Check this Saturday night Pangaea, aka Kevin McAuley, makes electronic dance music that draws its energy from the bleeding edges between sounds. Steering clear of the self-perpetuating feedback loops that often exist within established scenes, his tracks instead express the elusive and innovative qualities that characterize club genres in their infancy. The result is music which ranks among both the strangest and most banging dance music to emerge from the UK in the last 15 years. A DJ since the age of 14, his sets are acrobatic voyages that reach outward to integrate Techno, House and exploratory UK styles into their rhythmic axis; an aesthetic captured on his monthly Rinse FM show, his Fabriclive CD, and at internationally-renowned clubs and festivals around the world. In 2007 Pangaea established the Hessle Audio label along with @ben___ufo and @pearsonsound , which has expanded over the years to become a unique and pioneering force in modern club music. The label’s ethos is simple: to draw together original and boundary-pushing music not being represented elsewhere. As a trio they’ve been at the forefront of a scene that’s accelerated at an unprecedented rate, making their enviable ability to stay ahead of the curve all the more impressive with a roster that boasts the talents of Joy Orbison, James Blake, Anz, Call Super, Blawan and more. The last six years have seen him step up both his writing and engineering game. In this time the producer has garnered a reputation as a summer-banger specialist, a product of 2020’s lockdown highlight ‘Like This’, 2022’s ‘Fuzzy Logic’ and ‘Installation’, the lead single from the 2023 album ‘Changing Channels’. The seven-track LP is his proudest and most club-ready work to date, with each track primed for dancefloor damage. It also portrays a lighter, happier side to McAuley, albeit still dipping into a murky and mangled side that has become a signature of Pangaea productions. Strap in y’all. Alright y’all, it’s Wellness week On Saturday we’re looking forward to the return of rising artist @linda__lo__ for a night of mystical dubplates, swung 2-step and heavy weighted bass. She’s released with @n.o.b.i.a.s in 2024, is coming off a release on @program.audio , and most recently has been self-releasing monthly singles on her Bandcamp, the latest of which will be available this Wednesday, just in time for Wellness ⚕️ This set is not to be missed. Originally from Los Angeles, @danny_goliger is a multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer, producer, and DJ. He’s a resident and curator on LA’s legendary @dublab Radio, hosting the monthly “Backwards Looking Forwards” mix that dives deep into global dance music - from old‑school dub reggae to more modern rave textures. Over the past couple of years, Danny has consistently released heavy hitting EPs on respected labels. His “Push ’n’ Pull” EP dropped in July 2024 on @scuffedrecs , featuring percussion-led club tools tailored for large warehouse systems. A few months later, the “Say I Do” EP landed on @fauxpoly in November, blending dembow, dubstep and garage into moody yet ethereal four-track rollers. His latest, the “Exonym” EP on @m_a_g_i_c_c_i_t_y , pulls from UK funky, broken beat techno, and afro-latin carribian rhythms. Built from hardware jam sessions in his studio, the tracks live in the grey area - neither fully introspective nor overtly club focused - blending organic percussion and synth work into four distinct but connected ideas. Danny’s reputation within the underground LA scene is rooted in years of DJing intimate DIY warehouses, clubs, and radio hours. He’s become a cornerstone of West Coast bass culture - bringing finely tuned productions born in his LA studio to venues and clubs across North America, while his dubs, edits, and experimental selections remain staples for heads who prioritize depth and groove over commercial gloss. it’s Wellness week ❤️‍🩹 We’re primed and ready for the weekend and couldn’t be more excited to be hosting the wonderful @janemargarette . We caught up with her ahead of Saturdays show to chat about her party 14x21, and her experiences being both a DJ and organizer in Los Angeles. “14x21 (@14x21_la ) is intimate in a way that’s hard to capture in warehouses/venues/bars. It’s physically small - Max (@maxjudecheney ) and I named it after the square footage of our living room. We drag everything out of there and fill it with smoke and a few lights. We convert our office into a chillout room. You’re really present with the DJs/performers and with the other dancers in a setting like that. Our first party with Ice Wall (@i.ce.wa.ll ) had such a specific/electric energy - we immediately knew we wanted to do it again (and again and again). The party is both unserious in a club type way, but very serious in a house party type way. We put a lot of love and thought into the ambience, the lineup, and the people that we invite into our space.  I love playing someone else’s party because I get to focus all of my energies on digging for tracks/moods and delivering something meaningful directly to the dance floor. Organizing tickles a wider cross-section of my same curatorial brain - there are so many pieces to consider and puzzles to solve. Whereas DJing can, at times, feel solitary, promoting is a hyper-social process of connecting and collaborating w/ people, which I love to do. After presenting 14x21 a few times now, I have such deep respect for parties, like Wellness Check, that put in the hard, inventive, and often thankless work to lift up the scene here in LA <3”

For those who’ve been with us from the start: INVT were booked for our very first Wellness Check, but the night was sadly cut short before they could play. Now, the Miami duo is back, bringing their signature blend of club rhythms, bass, and global influence. A full-circle moment for us — a long-overdue redemption set 💥 On support, we have two of the city’s finest. @danny_goliger , an LA producer and DJ known for his deep, textured sets. A key figure in LA’s underground, whose sound is equal parts cerebral and body-moving, with releases on labels like Magic City and Faux Poly. And @janemargarette , DJ and co-founder of @14x21_la . A genre-moody, emotional-excavator by nature, she spins freaky intimate webs with uncanny precision.
