I really just wanted to create a record reminiscent of that 2010s iconic dance-pop sound but with a fresh take, with this particular song speaking to the intimacy I have experienced in the queer club scene 💙

The special takeover of Boiling Under by @weiming______ is out now 🫧💜
This month, Boiling Under is celebrating Wei Ming and the release of his new EP, "All Night", a project that blends queer storytelling, late-night emotions and dance-pop catharsis with rare precision.
With influences echoing Robyn, that song by David Guetta featuring Rihanna, and early Charli XCX, Wei Ming captures a sound that feels both deeply personal, and unmistakably generational. The EP makes room for vulnerability without losing the thrill of it all: a reminder that we, as queer people, have a desire of both silence and basslines, of longing and of release.
For me, this edition isn’t just about spotlighting Wei Ming’s incredible new EP.
It’s about giving it breath, and the kind of editorial space usually reserved for bigger names. My true belief has always been that independent artists deserve that same depth of attention, context, and care.
Congratulations Wei Ming for this new EP, and thank you for trusting Boiling Under with this moment! 💜

my 2nd EP ‘ALL NIGHT’ drops 18th November 🌀 I wanted to produce and write a project which captures what the clubbing scene has meant to me personally 💙 between the good, the bad, the kisses, the flops - it’s a collection of experiences which I’m sure will resonate with my fellow gay, theys and girlie ravers 👨❤️💋👨
