As this year comes to an end, the WE GO COOP project also reaches the conclusion of an important journey of cooperation, learning, and innovation dedicated to collaborative governance of Mediterranean wetlands. 🌍
Over the past years, the project has laid strong foundations for the future: from the creation of the Wetland Contracts Community of Practice, a permanent space for exchange among institutions, experts, and practitioners, to the development and full launch of the WE GO COOP Collaborative Platform, an open and dynamic tool designed to support dialogue, knowledge sharing, and the practical implementation of Wetland Contracts.
While the project activities officially comes to a close, its mission continues. The active network of partners and practitioners, together with the tools and methodologies developed, represents a living legacy that will keep fostering inclusive, cooperative, and sustainable governance processes contributing to healthier, more resilient, and better-managed wetlands across the Mediterranean.
🙏 Warm thanks to all partners and contributors, to the Interreg Euro-MED Programme and Natural Heritage Mission for supporting this shared commitment to protecting and enhancing Mediterranean wetlands.
