Diskutimet e sotme theksuan rolin e përfituesve IPA në Program, duke eksploruar rritjen e pjesëmarrjes së tyre, progresin në zbatim dhe mundësitë për një angazhim më të fortë. Today’s discussions highlight the role of IPA beneficiaries in the Programme, exploring their growing participation, implementation progress, and opportunities for stronger engagement. From national co-financing frameworks to strengthening institutional capacities in the context of EUaccession, the sessions underline how Interreg serves as a practical tool for preparation, alignment, and long-term impact. A key focus is also placed on empowering beneficiaries from candidate countries — identifying ways to increase their role in projects, overcome barriers, and ensure meaningful participation across the Programme. Thank you to all participants for their valuable contributions and continued commitment to strengthening cooperation across the Euro-Mediterranean region.

📍 Tiranë | 21 Prill 2026 Partnerët e programit u mblodhën sot për të diskutuar mbi aspektet kryesore operacionale dhe strategjike të Programit Interreg Euro-MED. Diskutimet u përqendruan në zhvillimet rregullatore në vijim, përcaktimin e gjuhës(ve) së punës, si dhe shprehjet e interesit lidhur me menaxhimin e ardhshëm të Programit për periudhën 2028–2034. Takimi përfshiu gjithashtu prezantimin e gjetjeve nga analiza territoriale e ESPON dhe diskutime mbi shtrirjen gjeografike të Programit, si dhe pjesëmarrjen e mundshme të vendeve të tjera. Sesioni i pasdites i Komitetit të Monitorimit trajtoi progresin e zbatimit, duke përfshirë përditësime mbi thirrjet në vijim, miratimin e veprimeve të ardhshme në kuadër të Mekanizmit Mesdhetar Multi-Program, si dhe performancën e përgjithshme të Programit në nivel projektesh dhe zbatimi financiar. Diskutimet theksuan gjithashtu rëndësinë e forcimit të koordinimit, sigurimit të zbatimit efektiv dhe maksimizimit të ndikimit të rezultateve të Programit në të gjithë rajonin. - - - 📍 Tirana | 21 April 2026 Programme stakeholders came together today to exchange on key operational and strategic aspects of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme. Discussions focused on ongoing regulatory developments, working language arrangements, and expressions of interest related to the future management of the Programme for the 2028–2034 period. The meeting also featured insights from the ESPON territorial analysis and exchanges on the Programme’s geographical scope and potential participation of additional countries. The afternoon Monitoring Committee session addressed implementation progress, including updates on ongoing calls, approval of upcoming actions under the Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism, and the overall performance of the Programme across projects and financial execution. Further discussions highlighted the importance of strengthening coordination, ensuring effective delivery, and maximising the impact of Programme results across the region.
