How do we forge communities of hope and enable experimentation to imagine better futures? TALK: Experiments In Utopia Keynote 27.04.25 // 12.15 Frobisher Auditorium 1 @barbicancentre Join Aditi Jaganathan, Amahra Spence (Hood Futures Studio), Anouchka Grose, Charlie Waterhouse (Hart Art) for the Experiments In Utopia Keynote Talk chaired by Nick Hadfield (Wavefield). The discussion will explore communal paradigms including the black imagination, polyamory, and collective ownership, considering emancipatory visions of the future and how cosmo-local networking can instigate cultural change. Considering how alternative approaches to space-making and self-organising enable experimental practices of imagination, art, and visions of the future, the conversation will reflect on lessons from historical experiments in intentional community building, while considering contemporary spatial, social, and digital infrastructures. @amahra_as @hardart.collective @anouchkagrose Curated by @nickhadfield_ & @susanna_idc Image from UnTyMe by @nickhadfield_ & @h_for_spirit Designer: @aseltambay
