“Perceptual Drift
Presented by More Human Systems with Michele Occelli, Lewis Walker & Ben Khan
As part of Experiments in Utopia at the Barbican
@barbicancentre
Together, they guide a perceptual drift — attuning toward a felt, fluid, and emergent mode of being. Held inside The Bubble, a living architecture for sensing, listening, and co-presence.
Michele Occelli works with trance states and therapeutic induction to access altered registers of awareness. Lewis Walker draws on a background in gymnastics and contemporary dance to open movement as a ritual of relational intelligence. Ben Khan builds sonic and architectural environments that hold space for co-sensing and resonance.
More Human Systems is an interdisciplinary platform exploring how spatial, sonic, and social frameworks can support new forms of collective presence. Through installation, improvisation, and time-based performance, MHS cultivates soft infrastructures for gathering — rehearsing more human ways of being, together.”
