On the occasion of Antwerp Art Weekend, in addition to the programme of works at our space at Florastraat 31, we will also host a temporary bookshop within Temp's exhibition 'Open Fields' at Sint-Paulusstraat 23.
'Open Fields’ is inspired by the energy of a shared table, where different voices contribute to a rich and diverse polyphony of ideas and perspectives. The exhibition follows an open structure featuring the work of 15 visual artists and performers. Instead of a fixed curatorial statement this exhibition aims to bring together different ideas, aesthetics and impulses, allowing the works to converse freely in the space.
On the first-floor of the exhibition we will set-up a temporary bookshop, offering a curated selection of books, editions and postcards from our temporary
Situated in the street-facing entrance of a graphic design studio and living space, in 2025, BO0000KS presents a programme of consecutive presentations of independent publishing practices, running alongside a year-long cycle of cumulative displays of the practice of artist Aaron Harris.
The work of Aaron Harris (b. 1990, Antwerp, BE) is concerned with the relationship that people have, through memory and daily routine, with their immediate environment and their own body. Paintings depicting architectural elements or utilitarian objects such as sinks, toilets, doors and windows reflect on individual and collective histories, games and stories.
The works are always based on existing images drawn from the artist's own archive of self-made or sourced photographs. While the images sometimes lack further informative or narrative context, some titles refer to, or contradict, possible interpretations. This textual tag on the work can simply reference the imagery used, or allude to literature or music that Harris is engaged with in the studio.
On Sunday 1 June, at 13:00, 15:00 nd 17:00 the performance of Iván López, 'Sync, for snare drum by Gene Koshinski', will take place within the exhibition.
Opening during Antwerp Art Weekend, we're proud to announce our presentation of self-published works by Peter Downsbrough. A wide and rare selection of works are available for the first time together. On May 30, we will present the last two publications that Peter was working on, with ImageBeeld and Tonini Editore.
Since 1968, Peter Downsbrough (1940, New Jersey – 2024, Brussels) has made over one hundred books. For the first time, BOOOOOKS offers an opportunity to hone in on the self-published and freely-editioned works of Downsbrough, giving an overview of this impressive component of his oeuvre. Peter Downsbrough belonged to that first generation of artists —including colleagues such as Robert Barry, Sol LeWitt, and Lawrence Weiner in New York; and John Baldessari, Ed Ruscha, and Allan Ruppersberg in California— who use the book as a means for presenting their work. Consequently, one could consider that he approaches the book as the ultimate exhibition space, one in which he continuously regroups reflections, images, associations, compositions, and proportions.
Friday 30 May
A double book launch of new publications by Peter Downsbrough published with Tonini Editore (IT) and ImageBeeld (BE), will take place from 14:00
Art Direction + Photography for Manumade
For the photography and art direction of Manumade’s handmade tablewear and tiles, we decided to draw on the natural and bodily character of the collection. Emphasising the unique character of each piece and their materiality, tactility, and form, we employed soft, natural light and and a sense of movement to reveal the subtle textures, irregularities, and warmth inherent in each piece of the collection.
The compositions are minimal yet intimate, celebrating the human body—through gesture, surface, and tone. This organic visual language reinforces the handmade essence of the brand, grounding the objects in a quiet, atmospheric world that feels both lived-in and elemental.

Umami Tuinen is a leading Antwerp-based gardening practice led by Katrijn Van Renterghem, working with an understanding of and passion for ecological and edible gardening cultures. We were commissioned to develop a new identity for the practice that would encapsulate their approach to gardens and living, with a focus on colour and an emphasis on nature and craft.
The colour palette is inspired by the natural elements found in her gardens… wild flowers, lichen, gorse, moss, wood and rose and by Umami Tuinen’s focus on biodiversity and a fresh look to nature's role in garden design.
The new Umami Tuinen logo celebrates the holistic approach to gardening that is central to Katrijn and her business, with new expanded services offered, which, through close collaboration with other specialists, expand from traditional and edible garden design and management into natural swimming ponds and tree care. The logo is available in a range of lock-ups, including as a typeless stamp, reminiscent of a maker’s mark. We also created a comprehensive set of digital and print templates and oversaw an overhaul and visual refresh of the Umami Tuinen website to apply the new identity in this context.
