Long time in the works - I have a new album coming out in April on one of my favorite labels in the world @moonerecords . The artwork is all meticulously handmade/assembled. Also, I’ll be playing some shows around the Southwest in April with a full band recreating/reimagining some of the pieces on the album as best as we can.

We’ve got a stellar line up that will be sure to soak your dry desert bones with rejuvenating vibrations. While the solstice brings us to the other side of the sun’s arc, here in the Sonoran desert it harkens monsoon season. the show will feature touring duo Mitchell Mobley and Hal Lambert from Baton Rouge (@mitchmob / @tentative.power ), and regional acts Pineross (@_pineross_ ), a new trio: Whorls (featuring @cecylruehlen ++++), Hannah McCain, and Seth Kasselman (@warmclimate ). Finally, Sunday I’ll be opening for Crumpler (on tour from LA, CA) and Desert Audio Reaearch at CIBO Carriage House @cibocarriagemusic Word on the street is this may be one of the last shows at CIBO for the foreseeable future. In the 10 years I’ve been living here, this has been one of my favorite small intimate venues to see shows and play at. This space has helped me and plenty of others build beautiful friendships over the years in a way that only the best DIY venues do. Not to mention, they have the best pizza in town. It’s bittersweet hearing this news today so come down, eat yummy food and please never stop supporting the independent venues that make Phoenix amazing.
