Thank you @kult.funktion for the opportunity to host part of your special evening at the Museumnacht in the Wereldmuseum. For this evening, I wanted to focus on bringing people together and simplifying what it means to dance. With a small performance together with @abigailaura.v and @saskianartey on the decks, it was already set in stone that it would be a great night. FRESH: reasons for Dancing Last November, I was given the opportunity to program with Maaspodium. For this evening, I wanted to dive into our reasons for Dancing and more specifically the relationship between culture and dance. Our reasons are often interwoven with the simple rituals that were passed down to us during family gatherings. These rituals are about celebrating, mourning, or life lessons we each hold dear. We all deserve the spotlight and that often comes with a little dance. Whatever your reason may be, understand that it's your birthright to do a little boogie every now and then.
