Week 19 ⥁ My finds of the week: 1. floorsleepers - floorsleepers [smthngthtstrtswthl] A calming ambient track to start off with. Slowly guiding you through different soundscapes. /track/floorsleepers 2. Chain Selector & Liuos - Valkoinen lumi [OHM036] Dub at it’s absolute peak. Such a beautiful melody line, with the classic dubby bass under it. Luckily for the listener it doesn’t end there. Halfway there’s a surprising vocal to guide you into the last minutes. Amazing to use at the end of dub set, or maybe the beginning of something house. /track/chain-selector-liuos-valkoinen-lumi 3. Fernie - Oxidation [Traversing The Void EP] Minimal hypnotic techno at it’s best. A melodic, calming but still driving track with an added vocal to transfer you to space. As the album cover could’ve told you. The entire album is filled with quality. Vinyl & Digital availability. /track/oxidation-original-mix 4. Per Hammar - Orbit [OYSTER76] Kalahari Oyster Cult always delivers and this time it’s due to Per Hammar. Especially this b-side track is very usable in almost every set. House or techno. The acid is not too much, the melody alternates great, there’s groove, a nice distant vocal & more little elements. This track you can play all by itself and wouldn’t get boring. /track/orbit 5. Khas - Memento Mori [MLRTRX026] The first track of a pretty special album. On the boundaries of groove and hypnotic techno - Khas adds special elements to make the track captivating throughout. Not your everyday boring groove. /track/memento-mori 6. SUCHI - Blåmerke (Sam Goku Remix) [Ghungroo EP] A crazy, high energy interlude or breakdown track. To break-up a set that gets too serious, but you still want to keep the energy flowing. The percussion & vocal work great together. I can only expect people jumping around on this one. Has been out for a while, but still worth the share. /track/bl-merke

Resonance returns for its seventh edition to Amsterdam. For the first time, we join forces with @hidden_ams , a collaboration shaped by a shared musical vision. We’re excited to host this event for the first time @8sixa , a space synonymous with underground sound in recent years. Artists from both collectives will come together for a night of deep, hypnotic sound. 4 hours of playing Dub, Minimal & House at @der.hintergarten ⥁

Thoroughly enjoyed playing a dub & light house set at @club.raum for this @orphiccommunity event 🦎 A little note about @orphicamsterdam ⥁ ⥁ ⥁ I’ve been going to Orphic events since their second get-together in 2019. I’ve seen some close friends develop themselves to become great DJ’s and Producers, eventually playing at some big-ass events. Simply by getting the initial chance to play for an involved crowd, at special venues with professional equipment. Orphic always creates opportunities for starting artists. It’s something special. And the team and organisation are equally - if not more - special. I’m really really grateful I had this opportunity myself at the absolutely amazing venue of RAUM ⥁ Thank you so much again for the trust 🫶🏼 @veerleromee @fredbaks @thomstraxx it’s a special memory for me. After 10 years of music festivals this must be the most artist-centered, to the core and well-organised one I’ve ever been to. Surprising friends at Monument in Veggli, Norway.
