Last December, we hosted our very first listening session at Doka, and we’re excited to finally share the recording of @cobahn from that night. Her story behind the set: ‘’In a darkened air, fragmented textures drift as fine particles. Long, stretched ambience holds the space, while near-beatless rhythms move like breath beneath it. Sound dissolves, its edges softening into the air. Distant echoes rise and fade, like something ancient passing through. A mist-covered forest at dawn, quiet and suspended. Somewhere between rise and fall, time flows gently, like water.’’ Tune in and relive her chapter from that listening session! Link in bio. Artwork by @sever.ja

For the next episode of the Embodiment series, we welcome @toxicmassk , an artist who moves seamlessly between genres that invite explorative sound design, crafting sonic worlds where texture, energy and precision collide.
This mix is another testament to that approach, guiding the listener through shifting states of mood and energy, where detail and impact coexist. Unfolding with a kaleidoscopic quality, it places the listener within the dancefloor, carrying a sense of wonder that feels both familiar and timeless. The result is a captivating journey that draws you in and doesn’t let go until the very end. In her own words: “For the Embodiment Series, I wanted to embody a part of my past - revisiting the sounds and records that shaped me early on. A more dubby, house-leaning sensibility, built on groove, space, and rhythm. A quiet return to formative dancefloors and nights that left a lasting imprint - like Globus and Panorama Bar - where music felt deeply physical and my relationship to sound first took form. Reconnecting with that era meant opening up a more versatile side: natural, grounded, and close to me. Across the mix flow tribal percussion, dubwise low-end, hypnotic structures, and more driving, kinetic layers. Not a departure, but a return. A way of embodying it.” Listen to the mix through the link in bio. Artwork by @sever.ja

For the next episode of the Embodiment series, we welcome @pianetisintetici , an artist known for his ability to shape immersive sonic landscapes. Beyond his work in the studio, he shows himself here as a strong selector, guiding the listener through texture, rhythm and atmosphere. Further exploring his interest in bass oriented music, this mix reveals another side of his artistic language, where depth and weight unfold in a natural flow. In his own words: I’ve been finding a lot of inspiration lately in this kind of bass driven, broken groove. It’s been a while since I’ve explored this territory at this BPM: the mix is energetic and sinuous at the same time, I hope you like it! Thanks so much Rosillon for inviting me and giving me the freedom to express myself 🫶🏼” Listen to the mix through the link in our bio. Artwork by @sever.ja

For the next episode of the Embodiment series, we welcome @ozzoozzoozzoozzo , a Rotterdam based artist and one of the creative forces helping to keep the city’s nightlife in constant motion through his involvement with Dohm, Roun and Shunter. Deeply rooted in the local scene, Ozzo’s sets reflect a strong connection to the dancefloor, shaped and interpreted in his own refreshing way. “I approached this hour with a warm up atmosphere in mind, where the build up of energy is not linear. I wanted to play with different rhythms and intensities, allowing space for variation and closing in an open way. Overall, it leans toward a dubby, soulful kind of techno, leaving room at the end.” Listen to the mix through the link in our bio. Artwork by @sever.ja

For the 77th episode, we are pleased to welcome @sarahhwreath , an artist who moves fluidly between club culture and deep sonic exploration. With over two decades immersed in electronic music, her practice reflects long, patient craftsmanship, grounded in vinyl, deep listening and a refined sense of atmosphere and flow. Her sets unfold as immersive journeys, navigating ambient passages, tribal rhythms and psychedelic charged techno, always guided by a sensitivity to frequency, space and the body’s response to sound. Through her work, sound becomes both introspection and connection, something she translates beautifully into this timeless mix. In her own words: “There’s a certain space in sound that has always felt like home to me. It was never purely minimalistic, but it wasn’t just techno either. There was dub, there was playfulness and always a proper dose of groove and experimentation. What really shaped it was a certain immersive quality, an energy that allows us to dive into the music emotionally and mentally, but still dance. Over the years, I’ve collected a lot of vinyl with exactly this in mind, records that exist in that in between space. I’m still deeply inspired by this timeless sound, the warm rhythms, the psychedelia, the acid elements, the sophistication in texture and depth. When Embodiment asked me to contribute to their mix series, it felt like the perfect occasion to dig deeper into my record selection and pull out some of my favourite timeless pieces. I wanted to capture that intersection. It isn’t this or that. It lives somewhere at the threshold, carrying groove and introspection.” Listen to the mix through the link in our bio and find the tracklist in the descriptions on SoundCloud. Artwork by @sever.ja

To kick off the new year, we welcome back @a._brehme , an artist who has been connected to our platform since playing at one of our events a few years ago. Building and maintaining relationships through music is important to us, and he has always been a natural fit in that approach. In this mix, he moves between different layers of energy with focus and care. The flow invites both listening and movement, offering a balance between lightness and drive as the story unfolds with intention. In his own words: “After receiving the opportunity from the beautiful Embodiment team to make a contribution to their podcast series, I took my time to try out different approaches throughout a longer period of time, until I landed with this recording where I made a blend of my favourite deeper minimalist finds from the last couple of months — played around a tempo that allows the grooves to breathe without losing their intended effectiveness.” Listen to the mix through the link in our bio. As we slowly ease out of the warmer summer days, we are delighted to welcome @malii_noahlyas to the Embodiment Podcast series. With more than 15 years of experience in making music and as co-founder of @profundocollective , he has carved out a space for deep, hypnotic explorations that move masterfully between nuance and vigor. Noah Lyas reflects on the recording process with striking authenticity: “During the summer, it gets so hot in my attic studio that making music is almost impossible. Even in the evening, with the windows open, it’s hard to stay focused and attentive while composing; only warm, heavy ambient pads come into being, with crickets providing the rhythm. This mix was recorded just after all those hot days, when the temperature was finally low enough to dance in the attic again, and to feel what it’s like to be active. It begins calmly, flowing slowly, until the first low notes become possible after which it spills over into rhythmic steps. Just like the transition from those sweltering summer evenings to the creation of this set.” A fluid journey that rises gently from ambient depth to grounded rhythmic flow, echoing the passage from heat-induced stillness into motion, presence, and dance. @djsport__ turns up the intensity with the 72nd Embodiment podcast. A polyrhythmic, dystopian paradise for those who find comfort in experiencing the unexpected. Born and raised on the island of Mauritius and now based in Barcelona, DjSport is known for her captivating approach to sound. She carefully plays with tension, release, and the uncanny. Speaking on the mix, she reflects: “The weird tendency to listen to the sound of crickets filling my brain with distorted melodies.” A glimpse into the world she invites us to step into. artwork by @sever.ja
