A hypnotic force enters the THIRD EYE: COBAHN 🪐
Shaped between the intensity of Seoul’s underground and the expansive pulse of Europe’s contemporary techno landscape, Amsterdam based DJ Cobahn crafts sets that unfold less like performances and more like immersive rituals. Her sound moves through deep, psychedelic and polyrhythmic territories, balancing darkness with movement, precision with instinct.
Her artistic foundation was formed within Seoul’s vibrant techno scene, where regular appearances at the legendary underground bunker Club Vurt allowed her to cultivate a deeply hypnotic approach to DJing. Rooted in patience and atmosphere, her selections gradually evolved into a language of tension, groove and transcendence.
Now based in Amsterdam, Cobahn has continued expanding her sonic vision across Europe, bringing her immersive journeys to institutions and events including De School, Tresor, Garage Noord, Ratherlost, Pax Romana and Mostra. Her trajectory continues to rise through appearances at Dekmantel Festival and Paral·lel Festival.
Drawing inspiration from Eastern philosophies, organic movement and the magnetic force of nature, her sonic language blends ritualistic percussion, deep textures and avant garde atmospheres into mesmerizing states of hypnosis. Each transition feels deliberate, guiding dancers toward suspended moments where consciousness and subconscious instinct begin to dissolve into one another.
Cobahn does not simply play tracks. She constructs environments of surrender, tension and introspection.

“Sunday at 7pm, Garage Noord was glowing, dense, and smoky as always.
Following Jefta’s beautiful warm-up downstairs, I stepped into the booth and felt instantly absorbed. The intimacy of the room made everything feel close, almost suspended. There was a focused exchange with the crowd, and time felt fluid, unfolding at its own pace over three hours.
These are the moments I value most as a performer. A full journey, patiently shaped and carried through, until I passed the booth on to Berghain’s force, Isabel Soto.
I’m excited to peel it back together through this recording.“

Fresh off the release of her latest Bloom Loops podcast, and ready to bring that energy to the Rebloom booth.
Amsterdam-based DJ @cobahn began her musical path within Seoul’s vibrant techno underground, drawn to its spiritual intensity. A regular at Club @vurt_seoul an iconic underground techno bunker in the city—she honed her sound across a wide range of parties. Now based in Amsterdam, she continues to broaden her musical perspective throughout Europe.
She has appeared at leading venues including @deschoolamsterdam@tresorberlin and @garagenoord as well as respected techno platforms such as @ratherlost_ and @paxromana.xxi and festivals like @mostrabcn
She is also a feature on @dkmntl and a powerful performance at @parallelfestival
This marks her second appearance at Rebloom, following her last visit to London to play at @thegooselondon with @sybil_dj and @escapverte

Here are a few snippets from the podcast I recorded for Rebloom Loops, ahead of my return to @rebloomlondon at @thecarpetshop.peckham next Friday.
It was recorded in my home studio in Amsterdam on a calm grey afternoon while I was recovering from a cold. I felt a little quiet and tender, in an introspective state of mind, and that feeling shaped the mix through dubby textures with a gentle balance between broken beats and four-on-the-floor. Easy, steady, and warm.
