Comp season in effect. @yannick_flohe took 4th place at the Bali World Cup. “Overall, I’m pretty happy with my climbing even though finishing just off the podium always stings a bit. But I’ve gained a lot of confidence in my lead climbing skills and had an amazing time exploring the island on my scooter, paddling through the beautiful ocean, and getting properly smashed by some waves 🏄‍♂️ three more days of holiday before going back home 🙌” 📷 @colinhuangrb

Ya gotta do what ya gotta do in these modern times. “✅️ Big Bad John 8A+/V12 Yes im using a shoe as a kneepad, sue me🤭 Really nice problem recently put up by @adamwheeler._ that suited me really well. Got a few thoughts on this as I found a kneebar which I think makes the middle section alot easier, that being said I think I’ll keep it as the given grade but with the caveat it’s likely gone from hard 8A+ to soft 8A+ and wouldn’t be particularly surprised if it goes down to 8A with time, but who knows, im shocking with grades🤷‍♂️😅 Nontheless I had an absolute blast working this, actually sending about 20 minutes after I did superman, making it by far the best day of bouldering I’ve had!!!” @conrad_caddy

Peter Pan, Rotpunkt 🔴, second quickdraw preclipped Peter Pan è situata nella falesia di Čepić, ed è, per adesso, anche la via più dura là. Nonostante la difficoltà moderata, non ha visto molte ripetizioni. Forse perché la falesia attira principalmente scalatori inesperti, forse perché i primi metri sono strani e boulderosi. Probabilmente per entrambi i motivi. Devo ammettere che non è una delle mie vie preferite, non ha i movimenti migliori o dinamici scenici ma è qualcosa di diverso, inusuale. Ha il suo fascino. Consiglio di provarla con il secondo rinvio preclippato, per motivi di sicurezza. Nonostante abbia chiuso la via il 3 maggio, il video è stato registrato nuovamente il 9 maggio perché quello precedente, a causa dell'angolazione, non rendeva bene. Purtroppo nemmeno così gli ultimi metri sono visibili, ma la via è praticamente finita dopo il sesto rinvio. Despite its moderate difficulty, it hasn't seen many repeats. Perhaps because the crag attracts mostly inexperienced climbers, perhaps because the first few meters are strange and bouldery. Probably both. I must admit it's not one of my favorite routes; it doesn't have the best moves or the most dynamic, but it's something different, unusual. It has its own charm. I recommend trying it with the second quickdraw pre-clipped, for safety reasons. Although I sent the route on May 3rd, the video was re-recorded on May 9th because the previous one, due to the angle, didn't work well. Bricolage, Rotpunkt 🔴 Alla fine anche la via si è stufata di vedermi cadere. Bricolage è di una bellezza rara, grazie a movimenti atletici e alla quasi totale assenza di riposi. Questa però è una mia opinione e, per giunta, anche impopolare. Nonostante la via sia molto scavata (da qui il nome), i movimenti sono interessanti e per niente a "scaletta". Per quanto ne so io, non è stata molto ripetuta e, come tutte le vie a destra di L'asino a gettoni, viene spesso trascurata. ⚠ Bisogna fare molta attenzione mentre si rinvia il terzo e il quarto spit. Ringrazio chi c'era per l'atmosfera e l'energia presenti durante la chiusura del tiro. Le foto sono dell'estate scorsa, scattate da @eiji.pernic . Bricolage is a rare beauty, thanks to its athletic moves and almost complete lack of rests. This, however, is my opinion, and an unpopular one at that. Although the route is very chipped (hence the name), the moves are interesting and not at all "ladder-like." As far as I know, it hasn't been repeated much and, like all the routes to the right of L'asino a gettoni, it's often overlooked. ⚠ You have to be very careful when clipping the third and fourth bolts. Thanks to everyone who was there for the atmosphere and energy during the send.
