Very proud of our dear friend and long time collaborator @christoph_hauf who is launching his brand @boee.eu today. Boee produces contemporary mobiles in collaboration with emerging artists and designers. Considering ambient motion as necessary for a vibrant environment, boee brings life to static living and working spaces.
Such a pleasure to help bringing this vision to life - go and visit www.boee.eu

We are feeling very honoured and happy that we have the chance to work with the amazing @mirnafunk and @eslauritaa on this campaign for @zwst_official - the central Jewish institution for social welfare in Germany. Welfare from Jewish communities had and still has a major impact on the understanding of many social topics, support of non-privileged and marginalized people and welfare in general. *Zedaka* is about empowerment and it comes from Jewish social ethics.
V excited about being part of this for the next months to come.
It’s a book, it’s a screen, it’s a space in between 📚💻 May 29, 2021 ✨ Start of a new platform for independent publishing
"It's a Book" is LIVE 🚨
The annual gathering of producers in the field of independent publishing, takes place for the twelfth time in 2021. For the eighth year in a row, it was developed as part of a project seminar at the Academy of Fine Arts in Leipzig. A group of students prepared the fair, which for the first time is hosted as a digital event.
Together with an incredible team of students, teachers and volunteers we have been working on the implementation of a digital marketplace and a digital platform for the symposium. Come visit us and explore the international student competition, a streamed symposium (with pre-produced and live broadcasted contributions) and much much more.

our studio contribution for @1000plakatefuernuremberg together with our amazing intern @rebekkahausmann
2020 is total upfuck to fellow friends and their businesses. We as a digital design studio are still ok. But what about cultural venues that have been our hosts, caretakers and educators? What about their role as a social place? What amount the ones, who can't hop on video calls to maintain their everyday life? We hope everyone will be healthy and strong to overcome these days of hardship UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN SOON. Love and support. Yours unfun

*Micropolitics of Billboards*
Our struggle as a design studio to find a logotype incorporating what we feel is not only one, but multiple identities led us to explore un…
un… is a call to action for ourselves. un… not only as a branding but also as a code of practice.
With the billboard project we migrated the fluidity of our un… identity into a shape that is suitable for mainstream imagination. The studio’s DNA is deeply rooted in the micropolitics of these billboards; from friendship to crypto currency, from ‘word-pictures’ to low hierarchies, from file-handling to gun control, from legal standards to the beauty of vandalism…
With each billboard creating its own ecosystem, ranging from a psychedelic trip in the German alpine foothills, to a hazy night downtown NYC, un… is a vast landscape that “contains multitudes”. The billboards can be understood as mirrors reflecting our identity. As a design studio, “mirrors should reflect a little before throwing back images.” (Jean Cocteau, Le Sang d’un Poète)
Yours truly, un… fun. #unfunstudio
A big share of the entity of me as person, or me as a professional and my career is based on the cultural inventions of black people. I am so grateful for all of this and I deeply appreciate the impact it has on my life. But I also understand that building a narrative around myself doesn’t help the situation. It’s not about acknowledging who and what made my interests in life. It’s not about my life. It’s simply about life. Black Lives.
So what can I do? How can I improve to be a better, more active, more effective antiracist? How big is the impact of my actions on the wellbeing and safety for the black communities in my own neighborhood vs. all around the world? Being a silent observer who simply dislikes racism is not enough. As a kid growing up in Germany I think I might may be a bit more confident exposing fascist ideas and behaviors. But I am def lacking in knowledge and education when it comes to racism in regards to black communities. Sometime I am tiptoeing around the topic, trying to avoid saying something, because I am scared to say the “wrong” thing. But that’s “wrong” in itself. After all it’s my duty to educate myself to be more confident about these topics. While coming to terms with my own privilege, there is simply work to do... it’s ok to feel ashamed, guilty or angry. It’s ok to not know what to say or do. But let’s f**king do the work.
In the short run, there is plenty of good resources out there on how to help or donate. In the long run, we have to look more precisely into options, start getting creative and focus on starting long term strategies, supporting businesses and initiatives etc.
But above all this, I simply need to remind myself, that any time I witness something that might only be close to racist behavior I will try to do everything to the best of my ability to hold this person accountable for their action. No matter if it’s a police officer, a government, a friend or members of family... @michael__alfred for unfun 🖤🤍🖤🤍
