Last September-November we shot the last bits of MCGS3! It was tough, the hours were long, but we pushed through. I was a Sound Mixer. When I first started I had no idea how audio worked, I was on set YouTubing how-to videosβ¦ but thatβs the thing about me, you could tell me to do make-up and imma spend all night and day tryna figure out how to be the best make-up artist (luckily that hasnβt happenedβ¦yet π). Fast forward a year later and we just WRAPPD SZN 2 HBLOCK. I was able to DP/CAM OP my first show. You could say I was given the opportunity, but I like to think I earned it. Ive been on set for just over 2 years with the
@mulafilms FAMILY, nose to the ground, in the mud, learning, working, growing. When things got tough, the late night drives got harder and harder, work started interfering with class, missed family functions, and I wasnβt sure how much longer I could keep going forβ¦ gratitude hit me. I get to do exactly what Iβve always wanted to do and live off of it. Gratitude is powerful, it can get you through extremely difficult circumstances. Maybe it comes with age, but I try an do a lot less complaining and lot more βitβs cool, itβs gonna get better, stick with itβ. I just wanna say thank you to everyone thatβs been in my life, past and the present. The foundations of who I am today. Family, Eagle harbor, WB fellas, MPI Folk and especially everyone at MULA, thereβs too many to name lol! Iβve got a long ways to go, but I think itβs important to give thanks to every small step along the way! HERES TO ANOTHER YEAR AND ANOTHER SEASON OF HBLOCK!
*Lastly to anyone else reading this far. Fuckin go for it.*
