I’ve been the biggest fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer since I was a kid, so when I was approached to be apart of this film which was looking for very Buffy inspired makeups, I had to jump on the opportunity. ✪ Meeting and working with all these creative and talented people, cast & crew, was such an honor. The Onion I had the opportunity back in March to work for @theonion and make a couple inbred characters! This gig gave me the chance to create some faux teeth for the actors, and in the end I honestly felt like the teeth really pulled both looks together. I also sculpted and created this eye piece for one of the characters; it gave that goofy faux eye stare I was hoping for in a somewhat minimal way! - I’ll be posting part 2 soon with the full makeups. Quick and Painless Before filming started I got the chance to sketch out some character designs for @chiqui.marrero character. SHUSH (part 2) I got to make the villains mask, and I did makeup on the project as well🤘🏻 ✪Mask making: Using bandages I fabric glued them together and formed it on a head cast @steelephotos gave me, for a more accurate fit. Then I painted it with some faux dirt and blood! ✩random easter egg on the eye contact choice. Won the award for best makeup at the @thecomedyroll_ festival!
