Today is release day for Alex Kilroy’s stellar debut album, Break My Chains.
Before I met Alex, I was told he was a blues artist. But once we started talking and he began sending demos, I realized pretty quickly that Alex doesn’t really fit into any one genre. He’s an incredible singer, a killer guitar player, and a songwriter whose music lives in its own universe.
If you want proof, listen to the final track on the album, “Hard To Let You Go.” That song says it all.
This project was a wild ride — from recording sessions down in Florida to working alongside some of the most talented musicians on the planet. Truly inspiring from start to finish.
This album has something for everybody… and yes, it even features Vince Gill. Unreal. Vince heard something special in Alex immediately, and I hope you will too.
