The next leg of The Neon Manila Tour - coming to a city near you!
Excited to be reading my neon poems (and new poems š¼) again very soon. Got talented friends, fresh ideas, and coordinated outfits with me for the ride. Hope to see you there!!
First up: NEON BITCH at @burleyfisher with @ellorarosesutton and @bentownleycanning on Mon, 27th of April! Tickets in the bio x
My debut poetry collection is officially out today!
NEON MANILA has been a journey five years in the making. Throughout that time, Iāve gotten to work with so many people Iāve long admired: from poets, artists, photographers, videographers, and musicians who all helped me create the universe Iāve envisioned for this book from the very start. The result is a body of work that is joyous, hilarious, angry, horny, political, and determined to unearth beauty and power from the queer Filipino lived experience. And even after all of the fun Iāve had so far, I know thereās only more to come.
I hope you enjoy reading these poems as much as I enjoyed writing, caring, and living them x
PS please feel free to use the code NEON25 for a discount when buying a copy direct from @ninearchespress !

Calling all poetry fans! We are so excited to be hosting a special collaborative event between four poets across Bloomsbury and Nine Arches Press on Tuesday 5th May: Karen McCarthy Woolf, Troy Cabida, Safa Khatib and Jennifer Wong.
From the aftershocks of colonialism across London and LA, to the vibrant neon landscape of the queer body, to the way language inhabits the ever-changing self, to how time entangles with memory ā these four poets capture the plurality of human experience throughout their exciting new work.
It is such a pleasure for us to be hosting them here in Edinburgh. Please head over to our website to book your place!
