This film kinda kicked off my directing career! 🫨 Fun fact: the project initially started as a beauty spec! And I still don't know how we ended up with this moody piece about acceptance and strength. But even after 5 years, I love how this turned out. Recently I took the time to revisit the film, flaws and all, and tweaked some of it to get it even closer to the vision I had in mind back then. A stronger sound design, punchier colours, some VFX. This is THE BEAUTY IN DIFFERENCE 2026. How did I miss this? 🫣 I recently realised I never posted the full Polaroid film on here, only some snippets. So I went back, picked up some pieces that got lost on the cutting room floor and gave the whole piece a fresh look. Now here it is, in full length. The Bigger Picture for Polaroid. Back to basics with a chopped up music video for this insane tune. Happy to share the work I did for my dear friend @arpen_daks and his first music release in years. I had the chance to not only direct this fun piece, but also serve as creative director for the whole release campaign of his upcoming EP “There Never Was A Golden Age”, creating everything from typography and more. Remind me in one year! 🤞 I am currently starting work on a tv series script. This will take a while to take any shape, but I wanted to put it out there, to create a sense of accountability. Making a short film last year definitely got me hooked on narrative work again, so besides another short, this is what I’m exploring next. GESPENSTER is a series about friendship, identity and how we are all just a tiny piece in a very big machine. I am really looking forward to sharing this story someday.
