Following the success of its Japanese edition, it returns to France in a newly reimagined version, celebrating the creative dialogue between Japanese and French artisans and designers. “Beyond Our Horizons: from Tokyo to Paris” invites visitors on a journey into the heart of material, creativity, and craftsmanship. MAMAN OF NATURE 🕷️🚁🌳 Neo glass paluda 300 @ada__laboratory W300xD 300 xH450 This Paludarium is based on an imagined transformation of Louise Bourgeois’s spider sculpture Maman (1999), asking how it might evolve if it were to inhabit a tropical rainforest. At the center of the composition is an organic, spider-like form. Over time, its body becomes gradually overtaken by vegetation: Marcgravia elongata spreads across its surface, climber plants and epiphytic orchids (Lepanthes) entwine around it, and eventually it comes to stand upon a ground covered with Selaginella. The figure is not a fixed sculpture, but a form in continuous transformation—one that is shaped through its interaction with the surrounding environment.
