What a wildly wonderful weekend of tiny adventures. I spent the weekend thrifting for art supplies across the valley and attended Hence @bollingerartdesigns art talk at @aotwfineart gallery. Then I trekked to Easton for the @ace.artscommunityofeaston Art Walk, where I met so many artists, curious humans, and new friends doing what they love. I even received a personally typed six-word poem from @maryannriker , which honestly felt like being handed a tiny treasure by the universe itself. I wrapped up the day with a visit to the creative stronghold at @eleven20art . There is something very magical about watching people make things they genuinely love. Today I attended the graduation ceremony of one of my dearest human friends, Becca, at Kutztown University. 🎓🐸 I remained professional and dignified throughout the event, despite being attached to the tassel and occasionally swinging into frame. I have completed a tiny but meaningful restock of the Oil Paint Department at Hen’s Art Supply Exchange. Fresh paint tubes, brushes, mediums, palette knives, pigment sticks, and several items capable of causing an unexpected creative spiral are now available. Personally, I arranged the paint into circles because it felt important to the atmosphere. Take what you’ll use. Give what you can.
