𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐖𝐚𝐤𝐞 — Participating Artists
Dreams That Wake brings together artists whose practices engage with displacement, memory, architecture, sound, and the subconscious. Through installation, VR, spatial sound, embroidery, and performance, the exhibition approaches dreaming as a political and embodied space, where exile, rupture, and survival continue to resonate beyond language.
Basel Naouri (
@baselnaouri )
Spatial sound artist and founder of slowfuture, Naouri works at the intersection of architecture and immersive media. His practice shapes both the VR environment of the exhibition and the closing performance Sonic Hinterlands, tracing crossings and sonic geographies.
Elizaveta Bogachova (
@lisa.bogachova )
Berlin-based conceptual artist working across photography and installation. In Random Waters, digitally traced waterscapes from war-affected territories are translated into sandstone tiles, confronting digital distance with material weight.
Mey Seifan (
@meyseifan )
Choreographer and curator, Seifan’s long-term Dream Project explores collective trauma and the subconscious. In collaboration with Naouri and slowfuture, How Am I Here? transforms documented nightly dreams into an immersive VR archive.
Mohammad Abdallah (
@thereal.abdulla )
Singer, songwriter, and co-founder of El Morabba3, Abdallah brings an acoustic performance shaped by displacement and experimentation into the exhibition’s sonic landscape.
Tala Fasheh (
@juthouri )
Architect and multidisciplinary designer, Fasheh engages erased architectures and lived memories from Gaza in Eternal Shadows, expanding the installation through Tatreez as cultural language and collective practice.
