And here it comes, a surprise and major corker from none other than @s_p_e_c_i_a_l_r_e_q_u_e_s_t ! Bit of a mad one here, as some of you might remember hearing this a few months ago as Paul Woolford shared a few heartfelt thoughts via a post soundtracked by an absolute heater straight from his lab. Some others might have had their brains rearranged in @draaimolen_ ‘s pit as @ben___ufo and @pariah_uk gave this one the test drive on this hefty wall of bass. Well turns out... here it bloody is. We’re incredibly happy to release this mightier than mighty “Uncanny Valley” into the world. Alongside the original, a pair of remixes from two of the maddest breaks scientists in our address book. Timedance stalwart @metrist.sososo nods to his love of hi-tech neurofunk with devestating technicality and flair, whilst @gyrofield adds a more hypnotic and psychedelic angle, leaning into the eeriness of the original. We’re excited to announce that Timedance is coming back to host Aura! Last September, the Bristol-based label curated their own little universe in our forest. Embraced by tall trees and submerged in erratic rhythms, Sinai Soundsystem delivered powerful vibrations straight to your heart. The stage became a haven for deep listening and free dancing. Having celebrated their tenth anniversary last year, Timedance is now entering its next era. Expect a line-up filled with bass-driven rhythms that sweep your feet off the ground and tremble the earth. Ceaseless Motion is out 🪄 Some absolute sonic-wizardry from @_polygonia_ over four dazzlingly original cuts that truly sound like no one else. Polygonia’s razor sharp take on a modern psychedelic electronic sounds truly echoed with Timedance’s mission statement, waltzing gracefully between bass-music infused grooves and the most spirally sided of Techno. Textures feel equally organic and other-wordly and each track ends up feeling like a miniature world of its own, and we gleefully get lost in each of them. We hope you enjoy the ride. Following up on her appearance on our TD10 comp last year, we’re happy to welcome @_polygonia_ again for a stunner of an EP entitled “Ceaseless Motion” and due for full release on 27.03  “Ceaseless Motion” draws on deep‐focus sound design, restless percussion and subtly warped harmonies, all threaded by a quietly hallucinatory sense of detail that really takes our breath away. TD10 - TOUR FINALE - @openground.club This Saturday, we have the infinite pleasure of taking over both rooms in Wuppertal’s very own Open Ground, in true family gathering fashion and for an extended club-night in a place that stands in a league of its own. No superlatives are enough to describe the depth and impact of the sonic experience that awaits you down in the hole, in this place where every single detail has been thought with such intent 🕳️ Come down early, as @batu_timedance will be opening up the Annex with a veryyyy rare vinyl set, and let it all unfold as @snapsofbruce @trish_ak_means @metrist.sososo @reni_ldn @yushh____ @carinkelly and @bakegla take things away, and until Batu returns and brings this whirlwind of a tour to its conclusion in Freifeld. @batu_timedance and his @timedance_uk label have been key players in defining the sound of Bristol bass, with a cutting-edge, sharpened ear for classic UK bass, techno, and experimental, marked by bold shapes and angular expressions. This year, the label celebrates its tenth anniversary, with an extensive discography released over the last decade with releases from artists including Ploy, Verraco, Bruce, Laksa, Rroxymore, and more. As a DJ and producer, Batu himself has carved out a niche that sits at the intersection of dubstep, breaks, wormhole techno, and club music, finding a throughline between disparate sounds and making them his own. This Friday, Batu is joined by @darwin_reef , whose SPE:C label and REEF nights showcase her own hard-earned position as a bass tastemaker, and Bristol-based DJ and Accidental Meetings resident i-sha, for a night of forward thinking bass. /// 🎟️ Tickets are available on Resident Advisor via the link in our Linktree. TD10 has now been out for a couple of months and the vinyl version is now reaching shops, shelves, turntables. Three discs filled to the brim with heat, ice, storms, and our singular visions for what currently composes the DNA of Timedance, all glued together by the sensational artwork and unique talents of @butt_studio The love, support and feedback that we have felt and received after unveiling this “slightly bonkers” project has been so appreciated and we’re grateful for all of it. No doubt it will fuel the decade to come too and we couldn’t be more grateful for the community and support that the label seemed to have garnered in a decade of existence. Over the past years @maxmackenzie has become one of the very best dancefloor wreckers about in Bristol. Now running his very own Northfield Records, he’s also a part of the Timedance fam and our shared love for Techno in all of its roughness and fluidity makes us incredibly stoked to hear him close out proceedings for the late finish.
