After 6 years, I had the honor of returning to Dharamshala for the inaugural Tibetan Artist Festival @tibetanartistsfest with Metok my Dranyen. During this short visit, I feel truly blessed to have received His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s blessing in person. How fortunate we are to walk this earth in his presence. Thank you, His Holiness, for continuously inspiring me to be a better version of myself each day. A heartfelt thank you to Bhuchung @badsonam the entire organizing team, and the Tibet Fund @thetibetfund for making this festival a reality, and for ensuring it was a meaningful and inclusive experience for both the artists and the audience. It was deeply encouraging to see the growing appreciation for Tibetan art in exile. There was a time when my own work felt out of the box, and many didn’t know what to make of it. But now, the next generation of Tibetan artists in exile has a much more welcoming space, with open ears, eyes, and hearts within our community. Thank you, everyone, with much gratitude. 🙏 I shall post photos from the festival later. Photos: these special photos are by @choejor and thank you Tenzin Takla la Receiving blessings from His Holiness while presenting the Grammy Medal & certificate. By Choenjor Presenting these to His Holiness and Amala felt like offering them to my own parents, who left this world too early. A whole book of emotions, I could built a world out of this single moment.

Really loving these occasional musical catch ups with my dear friends Vanessa & Erik of Clocked Out.
Here is a 30sec Fragments from our long-form, slow-listening improvisations — where time stretches, silence speaks, and melodies slowly reveal themselves. This little passage emerged somewhere deep inside a 45-minute unfolding… searching for the feeling of “Stranger in Your Own Land.” 🎶 Clocked Out is an acclaimed Australian experimental music duo formed in 1999 by pianist Erik Griswold and percussionist Vanessa Tomlinson @clockedout.music @nessietomlinson

✨ Here is a little Thank You video postcard to Gleny Rae & everyone at Top Half Folk Festival ✨💛 this little video postcard created from a combination of two beautiful moments during the festival — sunrise flute melodies on the hill overlooking the campsite, accompanied by birdsong, gentle wind and golden morning light 🌞💗 And a playful little moment of making music with rocks on the riverbed… simple, joyful connection with sound, rhythm and the landscape ✨ Feeling full of gratitude after a beautiful weekend for Top half Festival at Ross River Resort in Mparntwe - Alice Springs💛 So special to reconnect with many of my dear folk festival friends, share music, dancing, late-night jams and beautiful conversations surrounded by the stunning landscape ❤️ A huge highlight was being part of the Festival Orchestra piece created by Liam & Gleny Rea, and watching the young string players shine 🎻✨ Big thanks to Robert, Gleny Rea, Liam and Chris for bringing so much magic and joy into my concert 🎶 And massive thanks to the whole festival crew, volunteers, artists and everyone who made it such a welcoming and joy-filled gathering ✨ see you all soon again!!! Over the years, I’ve loved collaborating with some of the most amazing Tibetan artists from the Tibetan art world for my music album covers. For Whispering Sky, I had the privilege of working with a talented Tibetan artist based in Tibet - bringing an even deeper layer of meaning and connection to the project. ✨ This album is available on all digital platforms and Bandcamp too!!!

MESSAGE I wholeheartedly endorse the powerful appeal for peace made by the Holy Father, Pope Leo, during his Palm Sunday Mass. His call for the laying down of arms and the renunciation of violence resonated profoundly with me, as it speaks to the very essence of what all major religions teach. Indeed, whether we look to Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism or any of the world’s great spiritual traditions, the message is fundamentally the same: love, compassion, tolerance, and self-discipline. Violence finds no true home in any of these teachings. History has shown us time and again that violence only begets more violence and is never a lasting foundation for peace. An enduring resolution to conflict, including the ones we see in the Middle East or between Russia and Ukraine, must be rooted in dialogue, diplomacy and mutual respect — approached with the understanding that, at the deepest level, we are all brothers and sisters. I urge for and pray that the violence and conflicts may soon come to an end. DALAI LAMA 31 March 2026

LINGBHU & TWO DOUBLE BASS - “afterlife of sound” Such a beautiful experience being part of @4000Records ’ Slow Listening concert with Matt Hsu and East of West. We each shared a 30-minute set, and in the final 13 minutes of mine, I invited Goran Gajić from East of West to join Robert Davidson and me on a second double bass. It felt like being surrounded by two giant, resonant insects. My closing piece was a super beautiful improvised: voice, poetry, and flute woven with two incredible double basses. Sharing here 3 minutes of the flute sections from that 13 minutes moment of pure magic of slow listening. Thank you to everyone who made the afternoon so special, John of 4000 Records, Shunya, Slow Music Club, Junk Bar.
