Another film to take on the festival circuit by storm I’m quite sure of. We’re in the very last moments of finishing post with delivery in-sight!

Dialogue Mix & Sync Sound ---> this is essentially the 1st and most important stage of post production sound, as the Voice Over conveys the story; hence the rest of the composition MUST be built around this.
I first sort the clips from the editor into their respective mic types, colour them chronologically by scene, level the audio and simplify to as few active mics as possible. This is mainly done to smooth and reduce background noise.
I have to then split each voice channel and apply different spectral de-noising, as for every time the shot changes, so too does the background noise on each mic, as they are all varying distances from the sound source (also depending how loud location is)
It's a lengthy process, but once you have that good solid foundation, you will have far more clarity layering in the rest of the Sound Design later! 🫡🫡
