As I enter my 36th chamber, I wanted to do something different. Typically, I discount prices in my store to the number of years I’m turning.
This year I wanted to take it up a notch and do something I’ve taken into consideration from my community.
As spending has gotten tighter I wanted to accommodate the folks who wanted to tap in and purchase my WestSide Welcome Mat.
The goal was to get this at the doorstep or home of every real one on the coast and from there any WESTSIDE that exists.
Like I said if I can get to just 11+ total sales I can truly start building an inventory that could keep the price at $100 or lower, I’m counting on my loved ones and tribe to show up in real ways!

8.03.24. - WESTSIDE WELCOME MAT X ALL EYEZ DOORMAT Focus Group with @dreamhausla and their summer interns. What originally was meant to be a one on one with @honorablemohammed surrounding this art piece turned into an impromptu 'show & tell" segment where I gained some valuable insights and feedback. Much like @erykahbadu as an artist/creative, I get sensitive about my offerings, especially those outside of the lens. However, to be who I want to be and know myself to be requires putting myself out there. Gratefully, this day was a major stepping stone in that. For any creative or artist, let this serve as inspiration to share your ideas in those communities that want to see you win and succeed. 9/10 you'll receive even more intel that will help you succeed further.
