At thơm, it’s never just about the food. It’s about creating a safe, welcoming space where neighbors become friends, stories are shared, and community comes alive.
Our journey is rooted in family, an extension of my parents’ path from Vietnam to Washington, where they opened their first restaurant that still thrives today. thơm carries that same spirit: a place to gather, connect, and celebrate inclusivity.

Today we celebrate 4 years of thơm 🍍
From the very beginning, thơm has been more than a restaurant, it’s been an extension of my family’s journey. My parents came here as refugees from Vietnam and built a life centered around food, love, and community. thơm carries that story forward, and I am endlessly grateful to our neighborhood and every guest who has sat at our tables and shared a meal with us.
Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives. This journey is only possible because of you. Here’s to the next year together.
And a special birthday shoutout to my dad, whose strength, hard work, and heart continue to inspire thơm every day.
