#IATF2025 is a memory I will carry with me always.
So grateful to have had the privilege of leading the filmmakers, photographers and editors tasked with recapping this international event.
To my dear crew: we pulled off something very few could manage, and from this point forward, that gets to be part of our story. Well done!
Special shout out to my brother @itspuffy , whose dream to transform storytelling on the continent of Africa had room in it for a to fly a grateful American dude halfway around the world to tackle this massive project. Can’t wait for next time, my friend.

I can remember feeling so full of gratitude in this moment.
We had just spent three days playing our part in a massive mission to help transform the lives of filmmakers and empower them to change the world with their stories. So many amazing conversations, so much break through (and so little sleep! 😂).
The fact that we got to do it together, and that I got to witness over and over again so many of my respected friends and colleagues meet you and then realize how much of a badass you are, was the greatest gift I could have asked for.
Can’t wait to tackle the next adventure with you.

This poem keeps haunting me.
We’re all looking through dim windows; distorted by fear, wounds, and the lies we’ve believed about ourselves and the world.
Here’s what I’ve learned working with people: most hostility isn’t personal. It’s protective. Someone’s reacting to their story, not your reality.
Does that mean unlimited empathy for everyone? No. Boundaries matter. Accountability matters.
But when I approach difficult people with curiosity instead of defensiveness - when I look for the wound beneath the behavior - things shift. Not always. But often enough that I keep doing it.
Empathy isn’t toxic positivity. And kindness isn’t weakness.
It’s the superpower that lets you see clearly when everyone else is reacting to distortions.
And on a film set, in a team meeting, or in your daily life? That clarity is the massive advantage, and a source of peace.
Six months ago we took on a Lotus Cars project for Formula One in Miami that challenged us in every aspect. The ask from the agency was simple to say but difficult to execute: deliver every shot within 15 minutes of capture. To make that possible, we had to build custom software to ingest, process, and deliver footage in real time. We engineered the entire system from scratch in the weeks leading up to Miami, knowing that any flaw would show itself instantly once we hit the ground.
When we arrived at the track, the real test came fast. Our first file transfer had to move through the pipeline without a single slowdown. If any part of the workflow bottlenecked, the entire system would fail and the shoot would be a failure. We had tested hundreds of times so our confidence was high. The first real test was with the wonderful CMO @karacoraci , and we all waited to see how the software would perform. For a moment the room went silent as the data began to load. The files transferred, the automation fired, and the footage hit the client’s screen right on schedule. After that the system ran flawlessly in the middle of the nonstop movement every day of F1. The team kept monitoring to see if any issues popped up but every part of the workflow held perfectly. A HUGE thank you to my mighty team @thisismo and @steadi_d …. And of course one of my favorite people ever @mmmorrigan and everyone at @theinterluxegroup for believing in my team to pull this off. Everyone at @lotuscars including @karacoraci@njonieclund and @f1 … y’all are amazing!
This remains one of the most technical and rewarding challenges we have ever solved, and one I am incredibly proud of. @reddigitalcinema always coming through for all my productions. I couldn’t do it without yall and the amazing customer service.
