Born in Japan, Kensaku Shinohara is an immigrant, researcher, and interdisciplinary dance artist. His praxis draws on anthropology, electronic sound, and intimate collaboration. He investigates the primal forces that move and motivate our lives, while simultaneously challenging social hierarchies and interrogating the individual values we each hold as our moral code.
Arletta Anderson is a Los Angeles-based movement artist and educator. She makes work in collaboration with writer/sound designer Adam Smith under the moniker Andersmith. Their multidisciplinary work lives at the intersection of movement, theater, and live sound and has been presented nationally.

John Bradford is an actor and comedian based in Los Angeles. With extensive training in clowning, improv, and sketch, John is a versatile performer who brings a loose, naturalistic style to his roles. In addition to his work on stage and screen, John spends time writing & directing.Â
Max Judelson is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator based in California. During his undergrad at Boston Conservatory of Music, Max developed a weekly music program for patients, families, and staff at Massachusetts General Hospital. Since 2011, he has collaborated with dancers through composition, music direction, and class accompaniment. Judelson works as a staff accompanist at CSULB and other dance programs throughout California, as well as in musical theater and contemporary music ensembles.

Marie Osterman is a movement theatre artist whose work combines spontaneous composition, contact improvisation, theatre, clown, and any other iteration of messing around and finding out what happens in front of others. They believe in a theatre of compassionate mischief and queer embodiment. You can find them teaching and organizing contact improvisation events around the west coast or looking at the moon.Â
Cecilia Della Peruti is a Los Angeles based creative working across music, film, and experimental media. Under her artist moniker Gothic Tropic, she has established herself as a distinctive voice in modern indie, creating kaleidoscopic, guitar-driven music that blends indie production with an exploratory, cinematic sensibility. She has collaborated with Beck, Charli XCX, and Amaarae, and highlighted by outlets including Interview, The Guardian, and Paper.

Every other month, we hold Practice. It's a space for performing artists of different disciplines to come to together and focus explicitly on process not product. This is a space without the any pressure to make anything final, entertaining, meaningful, or even good. We have fun.

Her residencies include @headlandsarts , @mancc_fsu , loghavenartistresidency, @ucrossfoundation , @ladanceproject , and Camera Obscura.
McKenzie Stubbert is an Emmy-nominated American composer based in Los Angeles. His work seeks to provoke a response from the unobserved fragments of self. His two full length releases "For Their Return” and “Waiting Room” are available on Tiny Door label wherever music is streamed and is currently the music director of ArtisLifeisArt, an occasional variety show in Los Angeles.

A silly, soft, weird play I wrote during the @sfneofuturists first year. Maybe even the 1st 6 months? The script says 2013.
I originally performed it with @helloimalion when we were housed a space that was probably not up to code... or safe.
Amy and I got to do it again during the @sfneofuturists gig at @elysiantheater in October 2025. Much more up to code and safe. Shout out to the audience members who held flashlights in our eyes so we could be seen.
