Louisa Connolly-Burnham is prolific in the short film world. The writer-director-actor-producer’s last film, ‘Sister Wives’, won over 50 awards and was longlisted for a BAFTA. Despite a feature version in the works, Connolly-Burnham hasn’t stopped making shorts. her latest, ‘The Intimacy Coordinator’, tells a very different story, but maintains her dedication to “bad, sad horny girl” protagonists.
Here, she speaks to Julia Black Jackson (
@juliablackjackson ) about her early start in filmmaking (aged four), how her experience as an actor has influenced the way she runs her sets, and her ongoing mission to uplift and support women and nonbinary filmmakers.
