Stroller Roller Games!?! No? Ok ok. lol BreakingCycles-ChallengingMolds-EmbracingDifferences There’s nothing comparable to being a parent, in many many ways. We are so blessed! We are so tired all the time! Yes, “it’s hard” sometimes. @thee.sel & I were bombed with so much negative energy around how kids change your life & how “life as you know it is over” at the beginning of this journey! but that organically filtered our circle of people because one of the things that brought us together was our hunger to constantly embrace change; rather than repelling it, so we only saw it that way. And this life never felt over, felt enhanced. Different but embracing it showed us an incredibly joyful and nurtured circle. We could never fit the mold of “have to leave the kids somewhere to do anything!” lol Zen is probably our very best friend at this point, we always want to hang with her; but also, there’s so much we enjoy doing with our kids that they enjoy too. We wish there was more catering to parent/kid activities in the bladin’ community; but we love so much of it still. So much that we believe is valuable for their foundation. We aim for balance, like with a long grind; but fun and nurturing are definitely part of it. Being a dad has definitely doubled the fun in life for me! It has shown me that I have much to work on and to be thankful for. Plus now I have a license for my infinitely unapologetic pouring of lame dad jokes. Baby Zen, loves @juiceland so much she put the party on! While in Austin, this is a go-to for quick, healthy, nurturing drinks in between things under the heat of the summer.
