What drives you to push?! How did you get to such mentality? Blading nurtures my philosophy in so many ways… “when life pushes, push harder…” “choose your pain, and enjoy it!” “pause, reflect, apply, commit, let go” but also “this which we can do together, we can never achieve alone…” #skating for me is all about community, I don’t get film as much but @frai.gomez & @spookwackadoo 🎥+ being there and not hesitating to stop when I said I wanted to do it. I didn’t even try to warm up. I just knew I had it. That this was the moment. And it became my 1st rail in the Netherlands, my 1st street clip of the trip and the day, with the sun coming down and my friends all sharing smiles! Invaluable moments that last merely seconds yet as we experience them together seem so vast in time… I was so happy to have my @shred_ware cause’ I just went for it with full trust in them lol Thanks so much for always keeping me safe @phillgrip ! Again, community based lol I could say I wore the shirt on purpose for the trick but had no idea lol but honestly if you dive into how and why @clarkkirkman does things the way he does, then you might get to my same resolution: “ @factionskatecompany is not industry; but community driven!” and that drives me! Plus it doesn’t hurt that they have the best plastic booth I’ve ever skated since Salomon! I’m not just saying that, those who has seen me skating they’ve seen how many booths I went through in two years before I was able to skate something without complaining. So I’m just thankful, appreciative, and very much believe in the approach he has & how it has positively influenced many in my immediate blading community. So I’ll happily post about it, especially since I’ve ask so so many questions, enough for someone to yell at me, yet I’ve never received hesitation towards any of them and have always been treated with respect and kindness, unless I mess up on a trick I’m supposed to be able to do, but I need that lol JK thanks for everything you do Coach! Los Mochis was a great part of the @get_rollin MexTour. We had over 50 students, coached 3 teachers, had a press conference advocating support for local organizers, and explored the natural refuge in the center of town. The experience was beyond expectations. @flowersherolls @manwithpogo @thee.sel @frai.gomez @cameroncard @daniel.delgadillof & our amazingly gracious host @carlosfox8 teamed up to serve the community with joy, love, inclusiveness & care. When we started drafting the plans for this tour. We wanted to help the whole blading community in the country, so that all of the organizers be connected from north to south supporting each other. But also to help them connect to the community resources we have in the states. This year will be our 4th (official 3rd), and we want to encourage everyone to support these efforts. All the clinics are free, all the riders are volunteers, and most of the cost all these years have been out of pocket. We could use the help. Consider donating to this year. This 2k fundraiser aims to help us cover the cost of fixing the tour’s van so that we can transport ourselves throughout the 5 states/cities with all the gear. Every dollar helps a lot. The feel of the line on inlines! Got to try these for @zenstatelife birthday yesterday. Spent a bit of time testing them on the line. Tried a few different trick positions for pressure and balance points. Honestly, I was very impressed w/how grounded they felt. Would you consider this skating? Afraid of the dark? @spookwackadoo 🎥🙏🏾 clips from @get_rollin MexTour 2025 at Puebla after everyone pause skating and I got motivated lol honestly just playing around with @frai.gomez ‘s @factionskatecompany gray plastiks at night lol Surrounded by fun peeps, the joy stretches out, this is Mexico to me, smiles along the route, day or night vibes seep figuring lines out, genuine love is a trip blading north to south! this was our 5th year touring the country together teaching kids and adults, coaches and organizers, from north to south of Mexico completely free while creating a network for their roller federation. there’s no other event more important for our team. love giving but we’re so nurtured by this community year after year co-volunteering to grow blading up. I’m forever grateful to be part of this familia in even the smallest ways. Skating has saved my life more than once. Are you climbing or just going up? To just go tends to surprise us when the down comes, yet when you are climbing, every movement requires intention, thought, and precise action. It connects your thoughts, your efforts, and your breathing in a way which showcases the relationship with your self. This really transfers into other things in life if you intentionally use the same framework. Yes, specially for blading! It was interesting to find this clip on my cloud after I was listening to @austin_paz AMA on style video where he explained his perspective on big clothes or skinny clothes not being a factor on the style but just a fashion choice. On this one I’m definitely skating with tight clothes, do you think it changes things? I tend to agree with him on this one. I used to see groups constantly skating these ledges; but it has been a while since then. Hopefully now that the weather is better peeps will come out. This one also gets very muddy and if you get off early you definitely pay for it. So I know it’s not a favorite ledge for many.
