The name change of PCOS to PMOS reflects a deeper understanding of the condition beyond just the ovaries. Progress in science means progress in care, awareness, and validation. We look forward to the more honest conversations that this name change will create! 🌟

The Menstrual Hygiene Day movement is behind one long-term mission: Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld – a world where the stigma and taboos surrounding menstruation are history. It is a world where everyone can access the products, period education, menstrual health services, and period-friendly infrastructure they need.

Men join the conversation: Kalacha community breaks taboos with reusable pad training.
Our long-time partner, Ahadi Pads, involves men in conversations on menstrual health and pad stitching. In a community where conversations around menstrual health are often considered taboo, the sight of men participating in a training session on the making of reusable pads marked a quiet transformation.
It was more than a skills workshop. It symbolized the challenging of a long-held cultural barriers and showed a growing sense of shared responsibility in protecting the health, dignity and future of young girls.
