Kering Talk at Cannes with Julianne Moore Ahead of tomorrow’s Women In Motion Awards, Julianne Moore reflected on the long reality of representation — not only in film, but across culture itself. “There’s not representation in C suites, there’s not representation in media, there’s not representation in higher education…” Speaking at the Carlton Hotel in Cannes, Moore described change not as a singular breakthrough, but as something built slowly: “one bite at a time.” Her focus returned repeatedly to point of view — who tells stories, who gets hired, and how women continue creating space for one another inside industries still shaped by imbalance. “It’s a female point of view… that’s what you hope for.” Tomorrow, Moore will receive the 2026 Women In Motion Award from Kering and the Festival de Cannes. Chanel Cruise 2027 Invitation Matthieu Blazy continues his box series. Inside, a silver charm — this season, a clamshell that opens to reveal a whale tail, a quiet nod to Biarritz and Chanel’s origins by the sea. A small object, precisely coded. At Chanel, even the invitation carries memory. The show begins here. The Impression Where Fashion Gets Creative. @chanelofficial @matthieu_blazy #Chanel #ChanelCruise #Cruise2027 #TheImpression

Chanel by Matthieu Blazy Before the show begins, the scene sets itself. In Biarritz, surfers drift along the shoreline with black Chanel boards as guests arrive—Sofia Coppola, Marion Cotillard—gathering where the house first learned to move. @chanelofficial @matthieu_blazy @sofiacoppola @marioncotillard lenamiu_ch3 #Chanel #Cruise #Biarritz The Impression Where Fashion Gets Creative

Tate Britain introduces its major fall 2026 exhibition ‘The 90s:Art and Fashion.’ Touted as the the first exhibition to merge the two most influential forces from the decade - art and fashion - Tate Britain looked to Edward Enninful OBE as one of the decades leading young creatives who played an integral part in shaping the visual language of the 1990s, to curate the landmark exhibition. The raw energy of the time will be captured across 7 rooms that will showcase the work of designers, artists (including the YBA), musicians, DJs, film makers, and photographers. Featuring art, fashion, and photography from Alexander McQueen, Tracey Emin, Juergen Teller, Kate Moss, Vivienne Westwood and Steve McQueen. Attending the exhibition press preview, The Impression heard from curators Edward Enninful and Dominique Heyse-Moore on how the exhibition came together and how the ripple effects of the decade are still reverberating today. Oxblood opens its first Milan space at Via Bigli 6 during Salone del Mobile 2026, introducing a new approach to retail shaped by personal narrative and craft. Founded by Dr. Woo and Giulia Luchi, the project positions jewelry, garments, and objects as carriers of meaning rather than product alone. Conceived as a studio rather than a store, the space invites visitors into a slower process of exchange, where pieces are developed through dialogue and personalization. Outside, a trail of spray-painted spiders leads along the sidewalk to the entrance, a subtle extension of Dr. Woo’s visual language into the city. “I don’t like to call it a store. I like to call it a studio, a home,” Luchi says. “You come to us… and we help you find the right way to put your dream, not on your skin, but on your jewelry or on garments.” See all the latest Salone del Mobile coverage live on The Impression. Chloé presents a re-edition of the Tomato chair at Salone del Mobile 2026, under the direction of Chemena Kamali in collaboration with Poltronova. Originally designed in 1970 by Christian Adam, the chair’s soft, organic form is revisited in naturally tanned leather, emphasizing its sculptural ease and tactile quality. Produced in limited, made-to-order editions, the project extends Chloé’s language of fluidity and softness into the domestic space. Celine extends its FW26 runway environment into Salone del Mobile 2026, installing the show’s custom sound system within its Via Montenapoleone store. Designed by Paris-based Matéo Garcia, the speakers move between hi-fi engineering and sculptural object. Built specifically for the original showspace, the system is conceived with an emphasis on material, form, and presence, positioning sound equipment as part of the visual environment rather than background infrastructure. Reinstalled in-store, the project reinforces Celine’s approach to space as a total composition, where sound, architecture, and design operate as one.
