Matthieu Blazy’s first Metiers d’art show, which took place in the unexpected setting of a gritty New York subway station, tapped into the animal magnetism of the city that never sleeps.
What was also unexpected was the inclusion of a supercharged pop culture moment when @awarodhiang walked out in a Clark Kent-esque tailored look with an homage to one of DC Comics most infamous superheroes - Kent’s true persona Superman - just visible under her blazer.
It is no coincidence then, that the timing coincides with DC Studios latest version of the Supergirl franchise, starring Milly Alcock that premieres next month. The star of which was spotted wearing the sweater hot off the runway at CinemaCon.
Looking to emulate the superhero look this spring?
Then run, don’t walk down to @thegoosefinds (📍324 Hackney Road, London) where I was able to source this hand knitted vintage find (scroll to see a close-up of the piece).

Last October Alice Birrell, the Fashion Features Director at Vogue Australia, reached out to me to add my insight to their special sport and fashion issue.
I was excited to see my quote in print, adding my thoughts on the growing style credentials of the sports arena, and more specifically how tennis is taking centre court, from Wimbledon to the US Open, as a lucrative partnership opportunity for luxury fashion.
Thank you to Alice for letting me give my thoughts on this feature.

Tate Britain introduces its major fall 2026 exhibition ‘The 90s:Art and Fashion.’
Touted as the the first exhibition to merge the two most influential forces from the decade - art and fashion - Tate Britain looked to Edward Enninful OBE as one of the decades leading young creatives who played an integral part in shaping the visual language of the 1990s, to curate the landmark exhibition.
The raw energy of the time will be captured across 7 rooms that will showcase the work of designers, artists (including the YBA), musicians, DJs, film makers, and photographers.
Featuring art, fashion, and photography from Alexander McQueen, Tracey Emin, Juergen Teller, Kate Moss, Vivienne Westwood and Steve McQueen.
Attending the exhibition press preview, I heard from curators Edward Enninful and Dominique Heyse-Moore on how the exhibition came together and how the ripple effects of the decade are still reverberating today.
