Carole Hopson recently joined us for the Black History Month edition of Unscripted, our speaker series celebrating individuals who live our values and stretch what’s possible. In conversation with Marcus Sanders, VP of Global Food & Beverage at Coach, she shared her nonlinear leadership journey as one of the few Black women airline captains in the U.S. Driven by purpose beyond the cockpit, Hopson founded the Jet Black Foundation to expand access and opportunity in aviation, with the goal of sending 100 Black women to flight school by 2035. ➡️ Swipe for highlights from our time with Carole. Meet Maggie Suarez Anzorena, Associate Designer at @katespadeny . At an early age, Maggie realized the joy a handbag could bring when she saw the appreciation her mother had for her own, which motivated her to pursue a career in fashion. She joined Tapestry’s apprentice program and has been designing handbags ever since. Each year, we’re proud to share Tapestry’s efforts in achieving our planet, product, communities and people goals. This year, we achieved many of our 2025 goals, including: ➡️ Powering our stores, offices, and fulfillment centers with 100% renewable electricity ➡️ Reducing Scope 1 & 2 GHG emissions by 81% since FY2022 ➡️ Mapping 96% of the raw materials back to at least Tier 3 ➡️ Joining the Deforestation-Free Leather Fund, with a $250,000 multi-year commitment ➡️ Contributing 53,000+ employee volunteer hours globally, bringing our cumulative total to 303,000, toward our 2030 goal of 500,000 We’re grateful to our teams and partners who power this work.
