A billet-doux to The Headboard Workshop.
In May 2024, when it was decided that we would move to the UK, I began the frantic search for the absolutely most necessary furniture. By then I had already come across
@theheadboardworkshopuk on Instagram.
It was a hectic and stressful period, as I was still living in Sweden at the time. What stood out most to me is how wonderfully simple the entire ordering process was. It was so smooth that it inspired me to write this post.
Katrina, Rachel and Emma were endlessly patient with me. I was updated at every step: when they received my chosen fabric from a separate supplier, when the footstool was nearly finished, and finally when it was ready to be sent and delivered.
The bed frame itself is so robust with no squeaking when you move around. On the headboard part the pattern is so beautifully matched that it took me a while to even find the seam. And now, more than a year later, it still looks brand new.
If you have just stumbled upon this page, hello!
I run a small online shop in London, filled with vintage lamps, homeware and the occasional irresistible painting. Everything you see here is something I would happily keep, which makes parting with them hard.
👉 Do have a browse through the shop (link in bio) or drop me a message if something catches your eye.
