Had the pleasure of speaking on the Women In Music panel in regards to my journey and financial literacy. I’m always more comfortable behind the scenes but love sharing my journey with the next generation. Had the pleasure of sharing the stage with other amazing ladies who all had wonderful stories of their own @ghsiu , @cristinachavez , @jozzy and @brookedabrand . Had to learn so much fundamentally on my own coming up but met so many incredible people along the way that gave me insight and perspective of who I wanted to be through determination, focus and hard work. So I had to give the ladies @bkmoxie and @tina.davis their flowers 🌸. Got to meet so many amazing young women and entrepreneurs. Stay course and keep your goals in your line of sight. Thank you to @300ent , @uhhmuseum @chase and special shout out to @djkellyg and my husband/manager 😂 @the_original_wokrates for tapping me in! Was a special night and so thankful to those that came and shared the night with me. ❤️

Thank you to the @blackwomenfilm for selecting me as the 2025 recipient of the Beacon Award. This award is given to a woman who has been a trailblazer in the entertainment industry for decades, creating space as a First, Only, or Different (FOD) trailblazer. The Black Women Film Preservation Project (BWFN) is the oldest organization dedicated to preparing Black women for careers in the film, television, and new media industries. I am committed to to being a lifelong supporter of all that @blackwomenfilm does for women in entertainment. This event was incredibly inspiring to be among all these wonderful honorees, each making a unique contribution to moving the culture forward in their own distinct way. I am honored to be among the recipients alongside the incredible women from @IamCathieHughes @msangibones @feliciajo__ @katorihall and @ajanaomi_king . This sense of purpose drives me to continue helping the next generation unlock their full potential. Whether it’s mentoring, sponsoring, or supporting individuals. Serving others is my top priority, as I aim to uplift, guide, and prepare them for the challenges ahead. So wherever I can dedicate my time and energy to championing diverse voices or creating greater access and equity for people of color, I will continue to do so. Special thank you to Ms. Sheryl Gripper Riley for all that you do and creating this forum, to my forever sister who is not only the best in the business but also has the biggest heart. @purplephy27 , thank you @salenaroc and @quitawrites , as well as all the board of directors for selecting me. I'm forever inspired and beyond grateful. ❤️

During Super Bowl Week I was able to step away to be celebrated. I’m thankful to @essence for the feature and being among these other amazing women. @essence as always been my one of favorite magazines and to being featured is such an honor. Grateful for the recognition and being able to do work not only that i love but making a difference. I’m continuing to be stretched in areas I could have never imagined and embracing what God has in place for me. Thank you @d_ricks for consideration.❤️ Thank you to my #1 supporter @the_original_wokrates who is always pushing me out of my comfort zone and always talking to me about sports for yearrrrrrsss. 😀

Our little pilot ✈️

Spence has been passionate about aviation and planes since he was just two years old. He has always been fascinated by planes and always loved when I brought him mini planes from each of my trips. He loves everything about airplanes, aircraft, and aviation. To celebrate his birthday his Dad @the_original_wokrates and I surprised him with a gift of flight training from @essenceflightacademy . His dad was his passenger, and we were both so proud of everything he has learned on his own up to this point and today with the help of his co-pilot. Spence’s journey continues as he has been accepted into a flight academy at LAX and is also participating in Flight Summer Camp. This remarkable child continues to amaze us! ✈️

This is 13 🎂 This number is about creating space and new beginnings. You’re so in tune with your creativity and embracing who you want to be for yourself. Your musical talents are unmatched, and you’re focused on pursuing your aviation dreams. Despite being only 13, and growing into a young man you still possess a quiet childlike innocence that reminds me of my baby boy. You teach and remind me daily about patience and the importance of truly listening to understand who you are, rather than who I want you to be. Proud is an understatement and you are my mini me in so many ways. But also so much like your Dad @the_original_wokrates ! As you two blame me for everything 😂. You have the best is both worlds from us. I won’t tag you since you don’t follow either of us anyway. Thank you for choosing me and choosing us as your parents. We love you until eternity SpenceBoogie ❤️❤️❤️

Spring Break 2026 and little early birthday celebration for Spence with our fam 💕

Year 4, and it’s just as special, if not more so. This project is a labor of love, with thoughtful planning and genuine collaboration. I can’t help but feel the significance of this moment and the surreal nature of it all. I’m grateful to the many teams behind the scenes, who have worked tirelessly with such calmness and grace to bring this project to life. We’re ready!🏈🇵🇷

Spence is such a big fan of airplanes and aircraft! Whenever we fly, he’s always asking about the type of plane and wants to know all the details. He knows almost every airport because he study’s and plays flight simulator. On our way back from London, his dad @the_original_wokrates surprised him with a trip to the cockpit to meet the pilots and chat about aircraft. It was the best gift he could have ever asked for! And music, especially the saxophone is his other passion. We’re always there to support his passions. His dad even took him on a street performance in London with his cousin as a backup dancer 😂. I had been trying to plan a family trip to Europe for years. Little did any of us know that it was also on my mom’s bucket list. I’m thrilled to finally make this dream a reality as it was my mom’s and the kids’ first international trip outside of Belize. This experience will be cherished by all of us forever.
